This game is initially very entertaining, and looks pretty cool too. The in-game graphics when fighting are impressive, with hugely destructable environments and nice-looking attacks etc. When we get up close, however, the character models are often crude and angular, and the cinematics can be frankly embarassing in terms of the lack of realism(eg. smith's death at the end of matrix 1). The gunfighting is also relatively poor. The game is fun, but it has a distintly cheap look about it that distracts from the better aspects. Some crucial fights are handled badly ( the burly brawls lets you fight only about 6 agents at a time, and the end battle with smith is boring and dissapointing) and the wild changes in tone from serious to sometimes completely ... I thought Jak 2 was a poor game. I didn't enjoy any of the things I read as highlighted in other reviews I'm afraid.
The camera is sticky, it doesn't pan or move anywhere near as wel as other games I've played and it's so temprimental about things blocking its movement that I couldn't see where to go at some points - going into 3rd person view was the only way to unjam it. It doesn't pan low or high enough. Have the time I couldn't tell if I was by a rock or a gaping hole.
The characterisation is poor - Daxter is definately not hilarious. It's a good idea poorly executed. Getting a game character to say slightly rude words and bounce around in a not-quite slapstick way doesn't do it for me.

Well I got this game second hand about 2 Christmas's ago off my brother, expecting a really good game. It is good.. but before then I wasn't really a Tomb Raider freak like now. Anyway it has good and bad points.. I'll start on the good.
Beautiful theme tune, I liked the soundtrack
Kurtis, I thought he added a new flavour to the game
Graphics are really good compared to Chronicles and the such
Range of items to pick up
Now here are the bad points
Dodgy camera angles, frustrated me
Only analog control, and I loved the old control system
She was more like an Olympic Gymnast in her last installments, now she is built like a tank and can't jump anywhere without falling to her death (first ... Read More:

A worthwhile entry to the 007 games but certainly not the best, some of the missions are super tough too which can be off-putting for general action fans. I would stick to Everything or Nothing or, the best of the series, Agent Under Fire.

If you say manhunt is the most violent and digusting game in the british gaming market! well...your right.
Its a fact that no other game has caused as much debate of removing of the game from store shelves but I wouldn't say its as bad as some of the other violent games. For example "State of emergency" had the same level of violence but had a very arcade feel to it...a bit cartoony so its making all of this violence funny. But manhunt dousn't! The levels are all dark and soaked in grime with an atmospheric soundtrack (especially on surround sound)to make you feel the awful disgusting nature of the violence at hand, rathur then making it fun.
It is also true that the game was removed from shelves for reasons I won't go into out of respect ... Read More:

well i love dthe first one but the second has progressed alott more, fixing many problems, the story line is more gripping the graphics and smoother, the levels are more diverse and now you have co-op not to forget the weapons, they make the game so much more fun, dramatic, and violent, this game was suprising from the very beggining and i mean, the very beggining as in the intro fmv. and the levels afterwards were just awesom i wotn spoil too muhc but.... swinging london! and loadsa beatles lookalikes haha, just get it, its so fun and will keep you hooked on violence and the awesom story line

Lots of big, dumb, hack 'n slash fun from the guys who brought you 'Rome: Total War'.
Blown out of the water by the 'God of War' franchise, but still a rollicking ride of carnage and destruction.
Addictive gameplay, decent graphics and a thumping soundtrack.
For this price, you simply can't go wrong.
Surely it's common sense, if you're going to map throttle and brake to X button by default, to at least give people the option of changing to using the right stick if they want? I know I used the right stick on the first TT Superbikes, so why take that option out of the game?
It's not as bad as some people here make out in my opinion, and the game is playable with a couple of hours practice (if you've never done it before, using pressure-sensitive buttons to accelerate and brake is a complete bear to get right), but the throttle control in particular isn't quite fine enough, with noticeable steps as you accelerate rather than a smooth progressive increase. The inclusion of other famous road races along with the ... Read More:
GTA is not just a video game, it is a phenomenon. No other game as had so much unniversal praise, media attention and just simple become so massive. But upon playing the game you can see why. The first of the new generation GTA games in 3D on the PS2, the first thing that strikes you is just how big the game is. The world is massive, and filled with all kinds of madness.
Steal a car, drive around, speed crash, kill people for money, get into fights with gangs - all these are staples of GTA 3. Ignore whatever anyone tells you about the game setting a bad example for kids, what a load of rubbish! This is a game, pure and simple, it the amount of innocent fun you can have on here is nothing to do with the troubles in the real ... Read More:
