I was hoping this game would be a fun addition to the Buzz range. Really awful. Once you start a game, there seems no way of stopping it. It doesn't work at all how you'd expect. Very disappointing, do avoid. I shall be selling this game shortly on Amazon Marketplace, so if you don't want to heed my warning, feel free to buy my Used Once title ;)

Dirge of Cerberus is by far and away the worst entry into the final fantasy cannon, let alone the FF7 series. The game is a incredibly lacklustre shooter that would just have been ignored if it wasn't for the words 'Final Fantasy' in the title. The gameplay itself is poor, enemy ai is incredibly basic and it is a incredibly easy game to beat, you don't even have to change your gun much. Its a short game too, it can be beaten in 8-10 hours (if you watch the numerous cutscences). Even though the gameplay is poor the storys good right? Well short answer no. words cannot decribe how good this game is but i'll have a go. i am not a serious gamer but i loved this game. the story line is brilliant and has real breadth to it. the arcade is fun and realistic and will keep you playing for hours. there are loads of characters to unlock as well as a few cheats and weapons.the weapons are great as well as there are lots , all of which you can do serious damage with, although not so much the baseball bat. i have been playing this game since 2006 and am only 32% of the way through so it offers a challenge for the serious gamer( i would think) but is still perfect for anyone. definitely worth every penny.if you like shooters BUY THIS GAME you will not regret it. oh yeah and its really fun!!!:-)

I waited almost 3 years for this, and I pre ordered it. When Squaresoft merged with Enix, and because SquareEnix. I think they lost the plot. The main Composer left, who had done all the score to all the games.

In Final Fantasy 7 8 9, there was a very strong bond between the characters, even in 10 there was a bond.

In this game, there is non. The characters, they are just there for the sake of it. No real story line in the characters apart from a little in Balthear.

To me this game is so repetitive, boring, You wander around endlessly to find where you have to go. the grafix aren't as good as in Final Fantasy X and even in the older games like FF7 FF8. There are no Summoning of GFs, Aions exc. Just Limit breaks.

This is a great game.

I am a fan of the series and i managed to get hold of this. It is brilliant.

Its not just about shooting etc, there are a variety of tasks that takes different skills to complete. Ok, some may be quite easy, others will take a couple of efforts.

Great graphics, all the actors voices, fun extras, great playability.

2 bad points.
1) the driving parts, the cars were not that great to handle - could be better - but as this is only a small part of the game it can be negligible.
2) i wish there were more levels, or a free roaming aspect, where you could play as Jack or someone else to undertake various tasks when you felt like it - this would make this game awesome!!!

If you liked 'LOTR: Two Towers/ Return of the King and want a game just like them DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. The graphics are ok but it's the gameplay that really annoys me. I spent most of the game walking around, getting angry at the ridiculously annoying combat mode, which is just like 'Final Fantasy' when you take turns to attack and use powers. I had one go on this game before turning off my Playstation and trying to sell it.
In conclusion, if you like games with fun combat and puzzles DON'T BUY THIS GAME. Instead buy LOTR 2/3 or 'Ratchet and Clank 2'

Buying this game was like looking up and old girlfriend on Friends Re-united and being pleasantly surprised to find her prettier and nicer than you remembered...

I had misgivings about a re-release of TR1 but my fears were allayed within minutes of playing. It is sexier, faster, bigger and much more controllable (walk off a ledge and she'll grab!) than TR1 ever was. It incorporates all the great moves from Legend with the panoramic scenes and puzzles from TR1. It remains faithful to the original though by not incorporating Legend's binoculars, PDA and torch but you do have the grapple which sees a lot of use. (If you liked wall running in Prince of Persia, you'll love this)

What a fantastic game (is what i thought when i got this game near to when it was released) It is still even by todays standards a very good game the sequel (battlefront 2) was a huge let down in my opinion but thats only because the first battlefront was so good. You definetely should buy this game if you haven't already.
