This game is excellent! You can't help but fall in love with the dancing characters, and go banana's for the Monkeys and King Louis! You haven't lived if you haven't discovered the wonders of the dance mat for your playstation! ANd although this sounds quite a kiddie game... it really is fun for everyone. My recommendation is not to miss out "LOU BEGA's CHALLENGE!" Yes the Mambo No 5 legend sings "I wanna be like you" and the dance that goes with it is foot tappingly brilliant! You can't help but giggle! If you're an adult buying this game though... it's handy to know that you can skip the story telling in between... and just get on and dance! You will be hooked! This is an excellent game. Brilliant graphics (for a PSone). Outstanding funky soundtrack. excellent simple gameplay. My 7year old son & 4 year old daughter love playing this game as much as I do. It's such a refreshing change to playing a game that doesn't involve crawling about a sewer waiting to crack someone over the head with a crowbar.

Can't go wrong for a few quid either. Buy it

Music 2000 - Value Series (PS)

My love of music started when i was very young.
As close as i got to make music then though was shutting my eyes whilst listening to my walkman and pretending i did.
However when this game came on the scene it changed all that.

Firstly, you may be thinking "But its on playstation 1!? Surely it can't be any good now?" Thats where you'd be wrong!
Its newer counterparts (MTV Music Gen 2 + Music 3000) are less user friendly and feature (With Very Little exception) an identicle set of single note samples.
Where the PS2 Versions may boast better sound quality, Music 2000 is my only choice (even now) to get ideas down quickly before i forget.
This game is a must for anybody starting out who wants to make their own music, ... Read More:

Duke Nukem

This has to be one of my personal favourite ever first person shooters. I can remember buying ths in either 1997 or 1998 not long after I had completed the truly outstanding DOOM and was hungry for more FPS action and Duke Nukem did very nicely. It plays and looks very similar to DOOM only it is set in a futuristic Los Angeles. But what I personally really loved about Duke Nukem was it's unique and magical sense of humour that sadly I just don't see in that many video games.

Resident Evil: Survivor (PS)

This game could have been so much better if only there were 1 or 2 things different. Firstly, there are no save point's. secondly there are only 2 bosses. If you want to complete the game then you need to play it straight through (which in fairness should only take an hour and a half)and then you get the chance to save. the bosses are frankly dull. they are both tyrants only one constantly appears and is very easy to defeat (30 handgun bullets)and one you just shoot him until his heart is exposed and then shoot him in it from close range. the game does feature good points like a good story and some funny moments but these things way it down imo. Buy dead aim for a first person shooter.

Tomb Raider II (PS)

Normally when you purchase a sequel, you end up with something inferior or so different that it doesn't 'feel' like the game you know and love.

Well, this game does something strange...it's very different, but GOOD different! It's more realistic than the first one (well, barring the odd yeti etc.), but just as gripping and playable.

There are more human enemies in this, and you have to really look to find the secrets, but that makes it more fun! Some of the puzzles seem too hard at first, but then you just get a greater sense of achievement when you work them out!

Please don't use a walkthrough the first time around...it's so much better to figure everything out yourself!

WWF Smackdown

I love WWF Smackdown!, and I've got the calluses on my thumbs to prove it. I hear that WWE Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role is even better, but this first Smackdown! title puts every other wrestling game I have ever played to shame. There is room for improvement, but there's little not to love about the wrestling action unleashed from this Playstation CD. You have to start off with the wrestlers; you get all of the big names from WWF (now WWE) at the time, and most of them look great. Chyna's animated character looks atrocious, with a tiny head set atop a mountain of muscles, but I have few other complaints in this department. I am a fan of The Rock, and this game has really captured the style and look of my favorite wrestler, all the way down to the People's Eyebrow. ... Read More:

Medal Of Honor

What can I say about this game, its the best! Its the original WW2 shoot'em up, its format has been copied so many times but for me no matter what title you give a war game it always comes back to this.

I just love everything about it, so many hours in my childhood were spent charging Jim Patterson around, single-handedly saving mankind from Nazi rule, OK so he's a yank you can't have it all ways (the commanding officer's British though, hazar!). Seriously though the gameplay (as with so many 'pre-next-gen' games) is brilliant and it really feels like a lot of work went into the research side of things as well as making the levels challenging but also quite fun as well.
