As many have commented on the the pre "Gold Edition" versions of this game, this is not a Diablo 2 killer.
Although it is prettier (almost by default simply because it's much less old a game!), and has more classes etc. to play, it doesn't have the same soul. Toppling D2 is not impossible, a genre benchmarks are not all infallible. Is Half-Life the only good FPS game? Are Star Wars and Star Trek the only quality/popular sci-fi? Yes, because they are genre benchmarks, it is hard to compare sometimes, but they are there and that's that.
If Titan Quest had come a bit sooner, say within 1-4 years of D2 perhaps it would have been a closer run thing. As it is, it does not seem the most efficient of code as for the significant ... Read More:
I'm a fairly heavy gamer and have used this joystick for one to two hours every night since I bought it a month ago. Overall so far I am impressed with this joystick. It is very accurate and responsive, the buttons are good and the whole thing feels comfortable and I think it's a great buy.
Pros: usb connector and that's it, no extra power adaptor needed. Has Twist for rudder control and throttle both responsive and accurate. Lots of buttons you can configure for single key presses. Flush thumb button is great. Small/non existent dead zone, as soon as you start moving the joystick it responds.
Cons: Buttons only do single key presses no macro's. it seems to be developing a dead spot as one of the springs has loosened slightly ... Read More:

I bought this joypad mainly to play emulated games on my macbook, so I didn't need anything particularly fancy. This isn't a joypad with rumble capability, or motion sensing, or similar... it's just a straightforward joypad with analogue sticks. Because of that, it's cheap, but still a well constructed, solid joypad. It looks great, and on my macbook it's simple to use, no drivers needed, OS X recognised it with no problems.
It fits my hands perfectly, and I'm a girl with very long fingers, so many joypads don't work for me. I can comfortably hold and use it for long periods of time, and it's perfectly responsive. The shape of the joypad (similar to a Playstation pad, but with the grips at the sides being somewhat more rounded and comfortable), the placement ... Read More:

The DVD contains 8 add-ons to Oblivion, each of which can be loaded separately. They can be broken down in to 3 groups, Quests, Real Estate and Equipment, so I'll tackle each group in turn. Warning, before you read on, my review does contain specefic information about the game, which some may consider minor spoilers.
Quests x3: The Knights of the Nine (completion: 8ish hours) sends you to multiple dungeons collecting things, before battling an ancient evil foe and saving the world, the usual kind of grand plot. There are some nicely designed dungeons and at the end your reward is an armour set, which is either light or heavy dependant on your own highest skill. It's not particularly good though, although it does have one nice effect, which is to stop wild animals ... Read More:

The game is amazing and you can literally drive for hours up mountains in the cities in exotic sports cars. You compete in races for money to buy new cars and houses etc.
Firstly here are my machine specs: AMD Athlon XP2400+, 896MB Ram, ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 256mb.
To get the game running OK on my machine - and by ok I mean 15-20 fps which is not great by any means but is playable (Apart from in cities where it drops at times to under 10 fps). I had to disable Details (Flying bits of paper and stuff which don't really add anything to the experience) and Traffic (which makes the game easier because the police aren't after you all the time!), AND set detail settings to LOW which just seems to change the draw distance - everything still looks amazing though. ... Half Life 2 is a blessing as much as it is a curse; it sets the benchmark by which the genre must be judged, and unfortunately you will compare everything to this game. The anticipated Crysis pales in comaprison to the depth of the story and immersiveness of Half-Life 2. This is gaming mastery, and I really want to see a game that can beat it.

My initial overview of the game was that it was two high spec but after installing some new software it was superb. Grapics = 10 Gameplay = 10
