I think this is a fab little game and am enjoying it immensely although I had no idea how hard it is to slay trolls! hahahaha
Anyhow I am at the bit where Giselle goes back to Andalasia from NYC to do some cliff climbing and has to find a magical light and no amount of me exploring/collecting all the flowers etc and being nice to that toadstool is getting me anywhere even close.
Does anyone know what to do??? I would be very grateful.

This pretty much says exactly what it says on the package. You get the classic 'bat and ball' game, with only a light refresh and, what I would think is, little effort to freshen up the play into something more modern. It's certainly a ppor performance if you compare it to something like "Space Invaders Extreme", where at least you can say that they've kept the gameplay, but cleaned up the music and the experience.
Okay, so it's off to a poor start, falling short in the expectations of even a retro gamer, then the sting comes.
As mentioned in other reviews, the UK price is higher than just about another other territory. You've got to ask why... DS games are region free and there's not exactly a lot of text to translate ... Read More:

I got this recently and can only warn others not to make the same mistake. The game may have a good storyline, It may have interesting levels, It may be truly engaging. Sadly you will never find out because it is crippled by a control system that makes it almost impossible to direct your character around the map.
The camera swirls around as you move rather than stay centred on one spot. Sure it looks good but it means you cannot climb the stairs ahead of you as aiming for them with the d-pad leads you off to one side. You have to constantly jockey the camera back and forth with the L and R buttons to keep looking ahead. In combat this means you must press at least three buttons at once just to turn to face and target your opponents. ... Read More:

I bought DQM: Joker because of the fond memories I have with the older Game Boy versions. This new DS version brings back many enjoyable memories (ie, Monsters and sounds) from playing the older games but brings a new aspect to the "Fight and Catch'em" games on the hand held. The world you explore is 3D and although not visually stunning it is full of character and style. A pleasant change from the Birds Eye view 2D worlds these games usually play as. Then no longer having random encounters but actually seeing the monsters roam the 3D world around u is a real treat, picking when you wish to engage them.
Pros:
The breeding system is well tweaked and enjoyable
Night and day cycles keeps the 3D world looking fresh
Monsters ... Read More:

Easy to play and good fun, this is a good "entry level" game for young players - probably ages 6-9. Our daughter (8) loves it. Easy enough not to be frustrating for young players, but with enough challenge to be satisfying. Very good.
Rabbits are dear to me and so I was keen to have a go on the DS Bunnyz game.
Overall, I quite like it. You can choose from a selection the type of bunny you would like to have, name them, and teach the bunny words to say. You need to keep the hutch clean, brush and pet the bunny. Additionally there are games to play in order to win further food, water, treats, toys and different hutches for your bunny, even little hats and things! You can take your bunny for a run outside the hutch and pick up little gifts from time to time. Also I believe you can interact with others who have the game.
There are several little games and they come up to be played randomly whenever the bunny says 'Play With Me!', and there are different levels to these games, ... Read More:
