Fight Night round 3 is a good game but it could have been so much more. I like boxing but was uncertain if this game would actually interest me or just irritate like other fighting games. It certainly did the former.

The Total Punch Control is a thing of genius. It allows realistic dynamic fighting once mastered and makes winning fights a skillful process. The gameplay allows for various styles to be developed and made successful which makes this highly addictive and entertaining. There are some great fighters to pick from and you can get your teeth into some of the classic encounters (although not literally as there is no Mike Tyson).

I agree with other interviews about being initially put off with all the (misguided) early comparisons with Halo. When I got this game it was cheap and WHAT A BARGAIN! It's got atmosphere, an interesting story, and most of all - the gameplay rocks.

The weapons feel like they could be real and despite being Sci-Fi they're absolutely spot on. Only recently with games like Half-Life 2 and CofD 4 do you really need have the to nail your target unless you're using major hardware. Tonnes of fun.

An overlooked gem.

A nice next-gen (well, last gen by now, but never mind) update of the classic Crash Bandicoot series. This instalment is more of the same - cute, brightly coloured, harmless platforming fun. You can pick this game up very cheaply nowadays, and you can't really go wrong.

Pros: Fun for both children and adults, good graphics, large variety of levels.

Cons: Dodgy voice acting (though it is a cartoon I suppose), long loading times.

Okay I had never seen 'Family Guy' the series until a few weeks ago. After the first episode I watched I decided that I was a fan. There's nothing more funny than laughing at how stupid the very politically incorrect Peter Griffin is.

Then a few days later I starting seeing this game lurking around some game shops in my town. The other day I decided to buy it at it's cheap price despite the review I read in a magazine (OPSM2 3/10) and to be honest I think it is just as great as one of the episodes. I love the levels where you play as Stewie and have to brainwash people to get them to do things for you as well as repestedly zapping innocent people. I'm not too keen on the Brian levels and yet to experience the Peter ones.

For a start i will say i love this game.The moment i started playing i loved it.

It is easier if you have more sims.I started with one sim and then discoverd that everyone said it was easier with more so i am starting again.

TIPS;

FOOD
*coconuts are a great thing to have as a basic(so are bannanes)
*when fishing with a rod wait for the bait to come in for more chance of catching a fish.
*harvest all edible food possible.
LEAVES AND WOOD AND STUFF
*harvest all you can when still in good mood.
*some non edible stuff is good for making.
*some things can only be found in one place or beach/island
FIRE
*cook alot of what you eat and it will put up your skill.

Silent Hill Origins (PS2)

I am a massive fan of Silent Hill, so much so that I had to buy all the wonderful graphic novels as well as all of the games (oh and the movie, half of which is truly SH)!
Silent Hill 2 is for me by far, the best of the Silent Hill games followed by Silent Hill 3 and 1. SH1 should be re-done as the graphics are the only thing that makes that game iffy by today's standards. SH4 IS TERRIBLE! The concept was good to start with but they took away all that I liked in SH games.
Silent Hill Origins is taking us back to the feeling we had in SH2, which makes me very happy indeed.

Buying this game was like looking up and old girlfriend on Friends Re-united and being pleasantly surprised to find her prettier and nicer than you remembered...

I had misgivings about a re-release of TR1 but my fears were allayed within minutes of playing. It is sexier, faster, bigger and much more controllable (walk off a ledge and she'll grab!) than TR1 ever was. It incorporates all the great moves from Legend with the panoramic scenes and puzzles from TR1. It remains faithful to the original though by not incorporating Legend's binoculars, PDA and torch but you do have the grapple which sees a lot of use. (If you liked wall running in Prince of Persia, you'll love this)

Just arrived at the airport, go buy a car and a house to put it in with the cash in your pocket. Next, drive about Oahu searching for races. Earn more cash, buy more cars and buy biggers houses. And thats it.

You can drive around aimlessly or use the GPS to guide you. The races themselves are standard affair, time trials, one on one, 4 in a race etc. and they are easy to find and access. Graphics are good, not great but there is a distinct lack of atmosphere.

The problem with the game is the sandbox style itself. Its nice to drive around and visit Pearl Harbor and stuff but then you realise that you spend as much time driving around as you racing. Then you find that you have to drive to events miles apart and you spend more time trying to access races that actually taking ... Read More:

Buzz! The Music Quiz (PS2)

Bought this for my friend for xmas and we all had the most fun we had had in ages, i wish i owned a ps2 now! Younger kids tend to struggle with it a bit as the new music is quite a large range. There are so many levels, i only wish there was an expansion pack so you can add more songs/questions as i have seen them start to repeat. Well worth the money though.

I have completed all of this game and I was a bit disapointed by the graphics and some of the game but not all of it. When I bought it I was hopeing it to be like the movie.But the last level made me think that I had NOT wasted my money so overal I would recommend this game for you.
