As you can judge from my title,it's not the longest game in the world...thankfully!,This was much previewed as having fewer but longer missions than Frontlines but after finishing it I can honestly say apart from the last mission none of them are significantly longer than some of the bigger missions from the last game.
There are about ten or so missions with the first two being nothing more than short tutorial levels, add to that the in game save points and the game doesn't take long to sail through,however...
The AI of your buddies is atrocious with them constantly standing in your way, running round like they need the loo and constantly getting stuck in doors etc..,one major point, the collision detection is possibly the worst ... Read More:

well i love dthe first one but the second has progressed alott more, fixing many problems, the story line is more gripping the graphics and smoother, the levels are more diverse and now you have co-op not to forget the weapons, they make the game so much more fun, dramatic, and violent, this game was suprising from the very beggining and i mean, the very beggining as in the intro fmv. and the levels afterwards were just awesom i wotn spoil too muhc but.... swinging london! and loadsa beatles lookalikes haha, just get it, its so fun and will keep you hooked on violence and the awesom story line

Ico is quite simply brilliant in every possible way. If I had never played anything else on the PS2 than this I would still have been glad to have bought the machine. It is a shame that it is such a rare gem amongst all the rubbish churned out for games consoles. in fact the only thing to rival it is Shadow of the Colosuss, which is of course the follow up to Ico!

I waited almost 3 years for this, and I pre ordered it. When Squaresoft merged with Enix, and because SquareEnix. I think they lost the plot. The main Composer left, who had done all the score to all the games.
In Final Fantasy 7 8 9, there was a very strong bond between the characters, even in 10 there was a bond.
In this game, there is non. The characters, they are just there for the sake of it. No real story line in the characters apart from a little in Balthear.
To me this game is so repetitive, boring, You wander around endlessly to find where you have to go. the grafix aren't as good as in Final Fantasy X and even in the older games like FF7 FF8. There are no Summoning of GFs, Aions exc. Just Limit breaks.

I've been meaning to pick up this game for such a long time now and finally managed to a few days ago, since then I have well and truely completed the whole game, including all of the side missions. The point I'm trying to make here is that the game is just too flipping small. I'm glad to say though that the size of the game was one of the few things that could have been better on this game.
The first thing that caught my eye was the lush graphics that made up the detailed western landscape. Waterfalls, canyons, enormous lakes, beautiful planes. The detail that went into the backgrounds and character designs looks painstaking. I think one of the things that makes the graphics so good is the kind of glowing smoothness that adds to the cinematic experience, something ... Read More:

Mortal Kombat 1 was the first game I ever played when I was 6 so I grew up with it (im 18 now) Motal kombat Trilogy was by far in my opinion the best Mortal Kombat game ever made followed closely by the rest. The idea of having all the characters was great they all had different moves and fatalities and the 1 button fatality cheat just made the game more enjoyable. So here we are now with Mortal Kombat Armageddon.
This kind of reminds me of a re vamp of MKT but a very poor one at that all the characters are here with almost the same moves and what have they done to motaro? hes like a really weak minotaur now, in MKT motaro and the other sub boss characters were really hard to beat and were really powerful to play as , now it seems they have just turned them into weak oven glove ... I absolutely and entirely love this game. It has now been about 4 years since I played this game and yet I still remember the storyline as if I was playin it now. This game is massive in the very sense of the word, the entire world is involved in the plot, the storyline is... EPIC and the characters are your friends for the duration of the game. The story also has many plot twists and yes.. moments where you will cry. Beautiful soundtrack (Anyone remember Garden of Memories). Absolute must buy for PS2 owners.
