The review by "Olsta" that seems first up when I log on, sums up the nature of this game.

Nintendo will eventually release the Wii version so you can steer with the Wiimote. In the meantime this version is a great way to enjoy a truly great game for all the family. As with all Gamecube games on disc you need the Gamecube controllers (Not the Wii Classic one) and a Gamecube memory card if you want to save progress and points. Memory is not necessary to play when the family just load it up for an hour of fun! I got a set of Gamecube wireless controllers to keep the wirefree environment (Madcatz ones), and invested in an original Gamecube memory card due to forums indicating problems with third party ones. this is a good game but it is realy disoriantatin if your uesd to playin it on ps2. many people dont own a psp but have 1&2 on ps2.WHAT A SELFISH GAME!also the levels anrt as good, the heros a crap compared 2 the first games and galactic conquest only has empire & rebels.but thank lord u can use Kit fisto but he fights realy wierd.ocverall this is a prety cool game and its still fun 2 play so if you have a psp and like sb1&2 then ied check it out.

This game is great fun. My favourite chapter is 5 where you get to kill Darth Vader in free play in Episode IV.

When me and my friend started chapter 5 in Episode VI we were really excited because you get to kill the Emperor.

I put this disc in my PS2 and my TV exploded. My house burned down and my wife, three kids and dog died, screaming in agony...for the love of god, don't buy this hateful thing!

I read the reviews on this game, I bought this game, and for some reason I just didn't enjoy it. I can see why people like this game but for me it's certainly no Crash Bandicoot and I found it a waste of money. Not as good as the competition, granted it has very good graphics, but this could have been a lot better. A disappointment.

First of, this is a game that seems aimed at the 'retro' gamer. If you want the best and newest in all things Mario, go buy Galaxy. If you want to reminise about playing your SNES as a young teenager then buy this!

The intro is excessively long - quite frustratingly so! but once you get past it, the game is great. The controls are intuitive to any old Mario platform gamer, so it doesn't take long to get on your way.

(So far) the game is not the most challenging (so far) - but the old Mario titles never were either, but the ability to 'flip' between 2-D and 3-D gives this game enough of an edge to make it refreshing.

After playing the playstation version years ago I couldn't wait to get this. After playing it, SEGA showed just what they are capable of.. making a complete waste of time and effort! God knows why you would want to to pay 44.99 for it. Luckily I got it with the console. I advise you not to get this even if you love sonic, it will only dull your memories of him.
There are loads of reasons why it is so rubbish, and I could go on forever telling you but I'll tell you some of the main reasons. The gameplay is atrocious and will no doubt give you a headache within minutes. Short But Sweet Review;
Brilliant Game, Graphics and even plot line!
Only one thing wrong with this game, you need to keep saving every hour or so (if you play that long), otherwise this game has a tendency to freeze on you and you loose all progress so far.
This could just be my bad luck but other than this the game is really good.

I must say, i luv this game. The way pikachu **THE BEST POKÉMON EVER** follows u and is clear for all to see, the start of the game is a major mick take. A lightning pokémon, against a rock gym .... Even if u learn to use tackle etc. u get pwned by his force and if u want to beat Brock ur gunna have to train a mutha futha'ing Pidgey or summin ... it kicks u in the nags b4 uve even got started and u jst rly wanna get going and u have to waste time lvl'ing a stupid rat or sparrow. All i wanna do is make pikachu the uber greatest and get him thru to the end but i no i cant cos i g2 make my pidgey great first. Saying that .. i luv this game and when ur past the first boss its a peice of poop.
