Sony Silver Playstation 2 Console with Extra Controller (PS2)

I love my PS2,I've had it years and have,cough!,a few games for it,what do you mean the shelves have given way?,anyway it's great and the console I use the most but why,why,why is it so ugly?!,it is honestly the most ill-designed object I've ever seen,mis-shapen 'abstract'shape,strange corrugations on the front,bits lopped off for no reason a great big 'hole' in the back,for the network adaptor?,no,that screws on the back!?,thankfully it's black,so at night I can only see the green light and just imagine it looks better than it does!!

EyeToy Play 3 with Camera (PS2)

I ordered this game out of curiosity and i have to say, i am not disappointed.It's best played among 2-4 people but you can also play on your own. I always thought i was reasonably fit, but all the jumping, ducking, throwing and hitting left me panting in no time. All in all this is a good game to entertain guests with and also something to keep you fit if you are a couch Potato.

Time Crisis 2

This game is really fun but dont even consider getting it without a lightgun. My friend did this and got so bored he gave the game to me. I bought a light gun and it was amazingly fun............until a week later. Now i pretty much know the story mode off by heart and the mini games arent up to much. One good one though are the chrisis missions. They are very fun. Even though i only gave it 3 stars i would still get it beacause its not too expensive. I definetely wouldnt get it at £30+ in shops though.

Formula One 05 (PS2)

I'm enjoying playing this game its graphics are fine although the backgrounds may have needed some improvements. The sounds however i found impressive much different to any other F1 game ive played, no longer just the engine over revving but some realist bangs and clunks to go with it you really can here the car working giving a more much cooler experience. But apart from that the cars are very easy to handle they seem to have a solid presence making twitching around corners a rarity. Having the option of the racing line and breaking zones is also a great help, im only just starting the career and im not over impressed so far just isn't detail enough other than the odd email saying thank you for winning the GP bit disappointing to be honest but still ... Dark Cloud (PS2)

This is awful! Absolute crud!

I would tell you the story, but I don't know it: the cut scenes are sooo dull and overall drab that I couldn't bear to sit though them! There's some stupid old warrior standing outside a cave and he starts talking. But there isn't even a sound. All that happens is a speech bubble comes out of his head and words slowly appear in it. This is bad enough, but his mouth doesn't even move!

You also run slowly.

When you enter that cave thing nothing happens. All you do is go through several corridors, fighting skeletons that don't do anything when hit and collecting stuff you don't want. An exellent game, especially for those who like there planes. Increadably realistic (apart from, of course, there is a gaint laser, and you have 80 missiles). Totally addictive storyline that, when you watch the cutscenes, does make sence. However there is one drawback. It is short and long. Let me explain; the storyline is only 18 missions strong, each lasting about 5-10 minutes each. So, being increadably addictive, you could complete it within a matter of hours. But, it is long because, to complete the game fully and unlock all planes, you must finish the story mode in every difficulty level (there are about 5 in all), then you must find and shoot down these selected planes, and in the midst of it all, finish the story in all 3 player types: knight (those who spare ... Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS2)

I only bought a playstation so i could play Sly cooper and let me tell you it was wroth it. The first game wasn't that exciting and it was annoying becuase you died if you got hit once so i was a bit worried when i bought the second one. But i shouldn't have been because it was amazing the graphics were great and i loved the way it was like a cartoon. It's got a great story line and there are some really funny parts.
So i would say definatley buy this game becuase you'll regret it if you don't.

Unfortunately for us European gamers, Squaresoft and Nintendo felt that we wouldn't embrace the RPG genre during the 16 bit Super Nintendo era. Therefore, we missed out on several exceptional games from that time, one of those being Final Fantasy VI.

Ever since Final Fantasy VII became a smash hit worldwide, many had been curious about previous entries in the franchise, and Squaresoft was happy to ablige by releasing ports in either compilation packs (Final Fantasy Origins and Anthology) or stand-alone entries like this one. Smash Court Pro Tennis 2 (PS2)

I bought the game a while ago and although I really enjoyed playing it I cant understand why when on Pro tour mode there are not any more than 10 profile players (the top 10 players do not include Federer but players like Gasquet??). It really would make the game so much more interesting to play better players in early rounds of tournaments such as Wimbledon.

Having said that, all in all it is a fantastic game to pass a few hours ;)
