Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer Platinum (PS)

'Gateway to glimmer', in my opinion, is the best spyro game of the playstation 1 selection. It's no doubt one the best adventure games going too. This was my very first ever game when i had my playstation 1 console (years ago now), this in which gave me such a wonderful memory of playing when i was younger. I've always especially enjoyed adventurous games, those that have a long adventure with exciting levels throughout. Another thing i absolutely loved about this was the friendly helpers that help you through the game (Learning to glide, run then jump etc). EyeToy: Play 2 (PS2)

For a while now, I've been hunting for non-combative multiplayer games that I can enjoy with my daughter and Eye-Toy certainly delivers hours of fun. Standing in front of the telly and competing in various challenges, (sports,cookery and general silliness)you feel a bit daft with your arms flapping away, but what better way to spend quality time with the family.
Be warned, any adults standing nearby will want to join in.. then it gets very competitive! The eye toy is adjustable for height (a certain amount is needed when a 13 yearold is playing a 6"2 adult!)and you simply plug it into the USB port of your PS2 and GO. Other games on the market (like Spongebob eyetoy) add to the evolving method of gaming. NO MORE BUTTON BASHING GAMES!! BRILLIANT. ... Read More:

Killzone 2 (PS3)

For a while now, I've been hunting for non-combative multiplayer games that I can enjoy with my daughter and Eye-Toy certainly delivers hours of fun. Standing in front of the telly and competing in various challenges, (sports,cookery and general silliness)you feel a bit daft with your arms flapping away, but what better way to spend quality time with the family.

Resident Evil 4 Game PS2

Resident evil 4 is not only the best Resident Evil game on PS2, its the best game on PS2 bar none. Everything about the game is spot on, the camera, the aiming, the shooting, the length, the extras, all of them are perfect.

The story consists of Leon S Kennedy, a survivor of Raccoon City (He survived the events of Resident Evil 2) is now a government agent who has been sent to rescue the presidents daughter Ashley from a remote area in Spain. Once Leon arrives at the village, he is attacked by strange people who are under the control of a parasite called 'Las Plagas'. You control Leon and your mission is to rescue Ashley and stop any one who gets in your way.

Best game ever, buy it now, you won't be disappointed.

Base Unit Console: Black (PSP)

I wanted to upgrade my kid's GBA SP. Really enjoyed the little handheld, but the new DS and the PSP looked like they were offering some pretty impressive options. I spent absolutely ages trawling the web, reviews and homebrew sites.

Ended up buying both a DS and a PSP - second-hand. Then bought a few second-hand games for each.

I really wanted to prefer the DS. At the time, it was easier to use homebrew stuff on it, had a mass of cheap games available, had the touch-screen/2-screen set-up and had some pretty innovative, accessible and fun games. There are a lot of DS games you can just plug in and immediately start to play.

24 the Game (PS2)

This is a great game.

I am a fan of the series and i managed to get hold of this. It is brilliant.

Its not just about shooting etc, there are a variety of tasks that takes different skills to complete. Ok, some may be quite easy, others will take a couple of efforts.

Great graphics, all the actors voices, fun extras, great playability.

2 bad points.
1) the driving parts, the cars were not that great to handle - could be better - but as this is only a small part of the game it can be negligible.
2) i wish there were more levels, or a free roaming aspect, where you could play as Jack or someone else to undertake various tasks when you felt like it - this would make this game awesome!!!

SoulCalibur III (PS2)

Soul Calibur III, Well what can I say... It's Good (that's an undersatment) It's Amazing (that's an understatment) It's the best ps2 game (not including wrestling games) I've ever played/experienced. Rapheal is Fantastic with The Queen's Guard Sword!!! 5Stars!!!! (that's an understatment)

Perhaps in 2004 when it came out it was an impressive game. In 2008 I found it to be highly over-rated- simple plot, unimpressive choice of weapons, unsophisticated tasks (even on the hardest levels).

Everybody's Golf 2 (PSP)

This is my first forray into the world of Everybody's Golf but I must say it's a lot of fun. I have always been a fan of the Tiger Woods games because they were instantly accessible yet ever so deep - thankfully, Everybody's Golf 2 stands up just as well compared to its officially licensed counterpart. Whilst this does not have an official license and has a very cutesy appearance, Everybody's Golf 2 can provide a solid game of golf. It's easy to pick up and play straight out of the box and there are many unlockables to open up by winning tournaments (a lot are 9 hole, which is perfect for portable gaming - although these are 18 hole course so you can play a full round should you so wish).
