Buzz! The Schools Quiz - Solus (PS2)

I have the Buzz Mega Quiz game and as a family we really enjoy playing this game but my 8 & 10 year old children obviously find the questions extremely hard. We bought this game to give them a better chance of winning.
This is a great game to play as a family and can be quite challenging at times for us as parents. My 8 year old very nearly beat me at the year 3 game :-(
You can choose the year from year 3 to year 6 which is a great option. The games are not as long as the Mega Quiz but some of the questions can still be quite challenging.
We all really enjoy playing this though and have great fun as a family.

Final Fantasy X (PS2)

I've had final fantasy X a fair few years now, I have a next gen console and have played a hell of alot of RPGs. To this day I can honestly say, final fantasy X is the greatest game I have ever played.

I could ramble on for pages as to the specific reasons I adore this game, but I think the focus of a game like this is its narrative. This is why I named this review, 'beautiful', not for some corny over the top way of expressing how much I enjoyed it, bit because there is no other way to explain the story. It's astoundingly written and is by far the most emotional I have ever experienced, and thats including ff7s death of Aeris, which I think pales in comparison to the love story here.

SingStar II (PS3)

I have Singstar 1 for PS3 and after an update also have a new harmony mode with some of the songs I have downloaded. I dont want to change discs in the middle of a game and dont want to have a second disc. If the songs on the new disc are not available for download then playstation are not rewarding loyal customers. We have over 150 songs now and I dont want my kids changing the disc over and over again when playing the game. (Where are the wireless mics. featured in the intro of the first disc, perhaps they should sort this first)

Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow (PSP)

I've loved every single Syphon Filter game that's been released.This latest offering,is certainly way up there.I loved all the missions,just a slight gripe with rescuing Lian.That perhaps could have been done a tad better.It was done with other female characters held hostage.Despite that,its a great game.I love the deadly assortment of weapons on offer.Gabe's unarmed combat moves look good.Personally,I hope there is another game in the pipeline.

IMO This is the Best Thing I have EVER Got! Most Games Were Awesome!, Some Just OK, but none Bad That i've Heard Of!, Why Do People Always Bash the System Nowadays? It's Made it's Mark On History, It Has a Load of Great Games That Is Easy To Pick Up and Play, but It's Hard To Stop Playing, I even Found Myself Playing 12 Hours Strait, Sure It Can't Play DVDs o whatever usless things these Consoles Can Do These Days, But I think of the features a s bribe because the games suck, but that's My Opinion, The PS1 Didn't Need The features To Makt It fun, and if you buy one now adays, you should, and with 1200 PS1 Games Out There, It'll Take Decades To Get Bored, hell, the PS1 has more games than the PS2, The Only Downside is... Sony Go! Explore (PSP)

I bought Go Explore expecting a less than perfect implementation of a Sat Nav but hoping to have some fun with it.

Despite the low expectations I have been severely disappointed with this bit of kit.

Whilst the build quality is as you would expect from Sony there isn't much else positive I can say about this device.

Prior to acquiring this device I had used Nokia's incarnation of sat nav for it's own N770 internet tablet. The problem with Nokia's implementation was that the N770 is a little short on memory and therefore once the latest update of the software is applied it makes it things grind a little when accessing menus and even starting it up could prove hitty missy sometimes causing the device to crash but ... Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror (PSP)

The perfect game for the PSP
It's hard to believe they maanged to have great grafics, great story line and best of all, the controls are better than anything I played previously.
I can't stop playing this game, a masterpiece. It made me forget about my ps3 hahaha

Dark Chronicle (PS2)

I absolutely and entirely love this game. It has now been about 4 years since I played this game and yet I still remember the storyline as if I was playin it now. This game is massive in the very sense of the word, the entire world is involved in the plot, the storyline is... EPIC and the characters are your friends for the duration of the game. The story also has many plot twists and yes.. moments where you will cry. Beautiful soundtrack (Anyone remember Garden of Memories). Absolute must buy for PS2 owners.

Wipeout Pulse (PSP)

I was hesitant to buy this product since i already owned WipEout Pure for the PSP and many reviews said that this game was too similar to Pure.

I have found that this game is less of a seconed WipEout and more of an improved version of WipEout Pure. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who has owned and enjoyed WipEout Pure, this game is different enough to be worth your £20!

Gameplay: The ships seem to handle easier than in WipEout Pure, but the AI is also better, so that levels it out. Overall a brilliant racing experience.

Graphics: Amazing for the PSP, this game has better graphics than WipEout Fusion on the PS2!

Sound: Brilliant techno music and powerful weapon noises.

Jak II: Renegade (PS2)

I thought Jak 2 was a poor game. I didn't enjoy any of the things I read as highlighted in other reviews I'm afraid.

The camera is sticky, it doesn't pan or move anywhere near as wel as other games I've played and it's so temprimental about things blocking its movement that I couldn't see where to go at some points - going into 3rd person view was the only way to unjam it. It doesn't pan low or high enough. Have the time I couldn't tell if I was by a rock or a gaping hole.

The characterisation is poor - Daxter is definately not hilarious. It's a good idea poorly executed. Getting a game character to say slightly rude words and bounce around in a not-quite slapstick way doesn't do it for me.
