Ok so I have been a fan of sonic the hedgehog since I was 5 years old and now I'm 15 but this game was the WORST I have ever played ... EVER!!! I Advise that you bie one of the other (much better) Sonic titles
unless you like Mario then bie another one of them XP

I've read a lot of reviews on here saying its really hard to install but I had no problems whatsoever installing through steam. The game itself, which most reviews on here seem to have ignored entirely is brilliant. The new 3d match engine works really well even if the animation is a bit dodgy, its much clearer how your tactics are working. The assistant manager feedback is great and the press conferences really add to the immersion factor. A great step forward in the franchise.

Samba De Amigo is, undoubtedly, one of the best motion games I've played on the Wii so far. The basic idea is, as in many games like this, moving and shaking the Wii remote(s) in a specific way to "play" along with the music. Great music and fun visuals make it a really enjoyable experience. However, if you only read the instructions and the in-game tutorials, the controls are, indeed, very frustrating. It only gives you a basic idea, and the controls in many ways are not intuitive.
The problem is the standard Wii remote (and nunchuk) only has a single 3-axis motion sensor in it, thus there were always going to be compromises on how accurate the controls could be. Selecting the top, middle and bottom circles is quite easy - you hold the remote ... Read More:

Sonic at the Secret rings is ultimately a fun experience depending on how you approach it. If you've never liked Sonic games then the chances are that this wont really change your mind. Its the first on-rails Sonic game, and actually is a lot of fun, and boost the Wii graphics with some great artistic backrounds. The only faults however is its camera which can be horrible at times, and the controls. The camera is great when your going forward but as soon as you go backwards, its a different story. You are ultimately going backwards blind folded, as the camera is always behind you, not in front. The controls can get VERY frustrating at times, especially when you try and go back or stop. Sonic is moving all the time, and its hard to do exactly what you want at points.

As the menu comes up, you get to choose what olympic game you'd like to play eg- Fencing, Running, Long Jump and many more. Firstly, it'll tell you how to play and them and you simply play them. You get to pick the character you want and each one will have a different amount of eg- Strength.
Overall it is a very good game and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the other Mario games.

Everything about sonic chronicles hints about it being like the start of a series of books, but if that's the case then Bioware need to pull their socks up next time around. Other reviews have covered the story aspect so I shall cover the gameplay and graphics in more depth. Considering the DS hardware the 3D graphics in the game are pretty well done and for the most part the backgrounds consist of talented artwork as well as even a few cutscenes in the game.
Despite this however the game gives the impression multiple artists worked on the game, in the game menus the characters have more of a modern sonic look while the cutscenes on the other hand hark back to the 2D games more cute look of the characters, not to mention these scenes normally play out more like animated ... After reading about all the grief with the PC version, it makes a nice change just to drop this in the PSP slot and away you go. Ok, what's changed since 08? Firstly the 2D match engine, to be honest this does seem a bit 'so what'? and could quite easily do without, at times it is very slow, even on 'very fast' speed setting, but once you are into the game you hardly notice this, although frustratingly there isn't an option to switch the match engine off for some strange reason (2010 version perhaps?) and annoyingly whenever you switch to player ratings screen or any other of the options while the 2D match is active the game pauses, a minor annoyance, but surely one that could and should have been ironed out during testing. The new skin is much improved over the previous version (which always looked ... Read More:

I have had the chance to see this game in action before it is released - and boy does it look great. I never have been that fond of sonic games, but this game has changed my views completely. My eyes were glued to the screen.
I will say no more.
Get this game. You won't me disapointed.

I bought this game for my 7 year old daughter who loves the show and she wasn't disappointed and is currently her favourite game. That is once we fathomed out how to get out of the D-Lab!!!! Up until then the game is a bit boring, mostly chat but out in the field it's super fun, even for me and very addictive! The added bonus is the dinosaur fights which you can play with a friend for added excitement. If your kids enjoy the TV programme then get this game. I guess you could say this is Pokemon with dinosaurs. Recommended.
