PDC World Championship Darts 2008 (Wii)

Simple...if you are a "pick up from the shelf and master the game straight away" gamer...don't buy this! You'll become easily frustrated and end up kicking the cat over into next door's garden!

However, for the more laid back gamer, who slowly tries to get to grips with a game, it is a brilliant game. I bought it for my girlfriend and was a bit wary with all the reviews it had been given. At first, my worries became true but after a week of trying to learn just how to let go of the darn dart we finally made it. Now we are reaping the rewards with some very dramatic and amusing games. Darts is not a sport .. period .. its a passtime like hoola hoops , monster munch or dominos , if darts was lobbing a javelin sized projectile 100 yards into a numberd target ,cool, but all of the current darts players would fall down before they ran the 10 yards to throw it or have to go out for a fag and a pint then forget what they went there for . I grant you, it IS a skillfull game like draughts or pin the tail on the donkey. I actually like darts games ( check out the one on the DS ) but this is'nt that good ... sorry people, like motor racing and horse riding its not a real sport.

Dance Fest (PS2)

I had a dance mat back in the days of PSOnes and the games back then were SO much more user friendly than this!

For starters it does not tell you the speed of the songs, so you don't know what you're letting yourself in for when you select a song. Also there aren't that many songs to choose from compared to other games.

Little thought has been given to the display of the game. Instead of a more traditional display where the arrows go from bottom to top, the arrows on Dance Fest come out of the middle towards an outer circle. I find this makes it harder to work out the order of the forthcoming arrows and I often only see one of the arrows on double moves. It doesn't fill that much of the screen either, so I dread to think ... Read More:

The description on the case reads "Hosted by everybody's favourite TV personality, Keith 'Cheggers' Chegwin".Firstly I would personally like to be taken from the list of "Everybody's" and feel embarrassed and insulted that people class him as my favourite with out asking my opinion first! Secondly I would even pick Barrymore ahead of this idiot.
