I'll keep this short. I heard many good things about the prequels on the GBA, but dismissed them as I don't like strategy games. But when offered this for a measly ten pounds from a friend I thought 'What the hell' and bought it.
It's addictive, deep, and oh so much of a joy to play. It is very challening and requires you to develop a strategy but it really is worth your time even if you don't usually like these games. Battles can be very long but there is no time limit so you can take as long as you like, perfect for when you are half watching TV, half playing the game! you can even save mid-battle if needs be.
Believe the hype, believe the reviews, its fantastic.

17 years on and my original SNES still operates perfectly. I think overal, the SNES package is one of the best made consoles in the past couple of decades, and the pad is no exception - it's simple design does away with chunky buttons, and its incredibly slim, which allows for better grip than other pads; even slimmer than rival Sega pads of the time.
A few things may have put people off it though - the buttons, as I said, are not too springy, which could get a little tedious for frantic games, as it's hard to tell how much pressure you're applying. The only other thing is the the L and R Shoulder buttons could be a little closer to the sides too.
When I got my Nintendo 64 for Christmas in 2000, it was packed with 2 free Gold Controllers, but I also had a Blue Nintendo 64 Controller boxed! Now oddly enough, even though Gold is shiny, bright, sparkling and the controller everybody wanted, I was using the Blue Controller more frequently than any other controller (it is actually more used than the other controllers).
But it wasn't until August 2004, when I got hold of the Black Nintendo 64 Controller, and to tell you the truth, among all 4 controllers, there is no difference whatsoever! So you can have the same joy with those 4-Player games such as Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 2, Super Smash Bros etc!
But like I said about the Blue Controller in a separate review, I do find ... Read More:

By now the name 'Mario can only echo to the world mushrooms, evil turtles and 'flower power'. Oh yeah and of course, the greatest video game character of all time. Yoshi's Island is an excellent game, and the spirit of challenge and fun runs throughout from the start to the all-mighty finish! Oh, and considering the main character IS NOT MARIO but his trustworthy friend and pseudo-babysitter Yoshi; gamers can expect an experience that's just a little bit different.
The story has been given a little bit more thought than the previous Mario games: that is the 'rescue the princess/ defeat King Koopa' template. With Yoshi's Island we are introduced to a delightful fable - the evil Koopa wizard Kamek kidnaps one of two babies carried by a stork on ... Read More:

This is definitely one of the best games yet for the DS! you get to work as a rookie defense attorney- Phoenix Wright trying to stop your clients getting a guilty verdict.
You get to work on five cases in total which get progressively harder- case 1 being very simple and case 5 being a lot more complicated.
The game is divided into 2 distinct segments-
Court mode- Where you stand in court listenig to witnesses testimonies pressing for more information and presenting evidence to show contradictions.
Investigation Mode-This is where you walk around with your assistant Maya (you meet her in case no.2) questioning the games many hilarious characters and gathering evidence to use in the courtroom

I cannot get over how good this game actually is. Me and a group of friends have been playing this since it came out on multiplayer, and we just refuse to get bored of it, even now one of us has an Xbox 360 and Halo 3, Super Smash Bros finds itself in a gaming day routine everytime, without fail.
The single player is solid; classic mode, adventure mode, all star mode and event matches are just some of the choices on offer, and with so many characters to get used to, there's plenty of life in this game for a single player, but with this just on it's own, the game would be quite unremarkable. The game is designed with Multiplayer in mind, and you have everything you could possibly want at your disposal for it.
The frame rate is continually perfect, it allows frantic and intense ... Read More:
I played this game before its prequel: Path of Radiance for the Gamecube.
In the beginning the story and characters seemed uninspiring, the dialogue wooden and juvenile. How could anyone care for the Dawn Brigade? Leonardo, Edward, Nolan, so shockingly poor characters do I seldom see. Also the whole presentation seemed flawed. Outdated graphics, unmemorable music, bad voice-acting, still pictures and lifeless images.
Little by little I grew into the game, and after a while I was no longer bothered by the things which I mentioned. The story, characters and dialogue all improved as the game moved on, particularily in part III.
A new to the series, the game felt immensely difficult at times, but it was mostly for not thinking ahead and trying to move too fast. On second playthrough ... Read More:

This was a great game and still is for the N64 Similar to Goldeneye 007 but with better graphics and a lot more weapons, levels, multiplayer options and a lot more to explore! This is still fun today and still is among one of the best first person shooters of all time! This is actually betetr than the 360 versin of Perfect Dark Zero, and I urge all you N64 owners that havn't got this to get it or for people to get an old 2nd hand N64 and buy this because you will not put it away for 1 second, its that damn good!

This game is great there is lots to do and lots of Pokemon to catch. The game gets quite agitating because you keep meeting the same wild Pokemon. The graphics could be a bit more 3d. Overall this is a game is great and it takes a long time to complete.
