The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess (GameCube)

Unlike the other video game where my main objective to to complete the game; me and my sister have played and enjoined every stage of the game and really didn't want it to finish. I have completed all the series releases on N64 and gamecube and found this to be my second best as I still think that the "ocarina of time" os the best zelda yet.

I have also bought this for my wii but its exactly the same except for the controls. yet I enjoined playing the game and completing it for the second time.

I will highly recommend this game for everyone as I think that its suitable for all.

Pokémon Gold

Now come on...it's unlikely that you've never heard of Pokemon if you're reading this. And you should all know that this version has 251 pokemon which you need to capture.

You start off as a basic pokemon trainer, as you raise and capture more pokemon you're party grows stronger and evolves as you attempt to become the Pokemon master by beating all the gym leaders and the elite four and finally ??? (I won't spoil it for you).

Basically it's an addictive RPG that involves you raising and capturing pokemon...do you really need a long and in depth review for something so basically addictive. Just buy it.

Excite Truck (Wii)

I seemed to enjoy this game more then my 7 year old! great game of deciding which truck is the best for which track etc but after its finished (which didn't take long) that's it-felt a bit cheated but a good game nevr the less.

Wario: Master of Disguise (Nintendo DS)

Well, what can I say?

I generally love the Wario games - but this one was just far too complicated for what it was intended to be. The fact that you have to use the stylus to play the entire game just puts you off - it just becomes tedious! I also found the general levels quite difficult too, purely because the map system is rather poor. Different parts of the level just murge into eachother when looking at the map for guidence.

Bring back old skool Wario!

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3 (GBA)

I was fortunate enough to play this on the nes as my brother had one. I remember being with my sister and brother in the parlour late at night, being glued and trying to complete the game in one go. I also remember being annoyed when i had to keep blowing in the nes and game to make it work for 20 minutes at a time. Finally, there is a god and it had been brought out on GBA. I must have played this game at least 100 times when i was younger and just discovered it on gba. I loved the colours and graphics and the music of the nes and still remember it like i was playing it now. I can not wait to get this game (i paid £20 for it but hopefully it will be worth it, going by my old memories and reviews!) and hope it will come soon. Game recently did the greatest game ... I have only tried playing against the computer but it is certainly one of the best chess games available.
Challenge the computer
Play against people online
if you're into chess this is a MUST.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GameCube)

In 2001 Nintendo made a decision to move away from the normal 3 dimensional graphics and try out something new, known as cel shading. And it certainly paid off.

The graphics in Wind Waker are jaw-dropping. By rendering 2 dimensional sprites in a 3 dimensional world the game has an artistic, highly stylised, often cartoony feel about it. This, combined with the vivid colours and beautiful attention to detail means that the game is a pleasure to play from start to finish. Enemies explode into a cloud of smoke, the wind rushes into your sails, grass swishes and the sea swells. Although the graphics have changed dramatically from earlier releases, none of the atmosphere of the game has been lost.

Pokémon: Blue - Gotta Catch `em all (Game Boy)

Its hard to believe looking back, that this game caused so much of a stir in the playground. Pokemon Red and Blue where a big deal during the mid 90's, and it was the game that really absored kids into a great adventure.
The layout of the game itself is simple, which I guess helped the popularity. But it was more of the objective that took sold the game - you had to become the 'best' pokemon trainer, and this could be done by winning lots and lots fights with other trainers.
I won't even go into what 'Pokemon' are (japanese for Pocket Monsters - hence they are kept in Pokeballs...) but to make it simple, their just creatures that are trained up and used for fighting other Pokemon. On your travels, you can catch Pokemon by using Pokeballs you may buy, and various ... Read More:

Received today and boy what a great looking unit. The glossy piano red cover blends well with the matt black. Machine performs and works well.Comes with a U.S. charger and a U.K. adaptor which works well. The unit is well made. You will not be dissappointed!!
