Beautiful Katamari (Xbox 360)

Hmmm. Hmmmmm. This is a dificult review for me to type, given that "We Love Katamari" is my favourite game ever, and I was looking forward to this new katamari offering so much I have been feverishly playing the demo repeatedly and re-visiting stages on "We Love Katamari" until I could finally run down to my local shop and nab the retail version. 3 hours later, I lay down my controller and watch the end credits roll, and although it's been a fun 3 hours, I can't help feeling slightly, well, miffed.

this is a great arcade game. it looks good and feels well. it is nothing more than an quick racing arcade game and is not ment to be taking seriously. just enjoy it. well better than terrible ps3 version

Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight (PS3)

This is the only game that I have ever traded in for my ps3.
TRULY AWFUL controls make the movement of the suit and the POV very confusing and no way of resetting when you inevitably get disorientated.
The idea of these games, I thought was to be challenged by the opponents; not by the job of using the controls, its not a driving simulator or something.
very poor....dont bother.

Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits (Nintendo DS)

So do you enjoy puzzle games? Tetris was amazing but now, games are overshadowed by bigger things like Mario or Zelda games. But this shouldn't. The simplicity of just eliminating block after block with person whilst trying to gain air is what makes this game what it is. It's another addictive game with that "Oh i'll try just 1 more time" factor. We all love those. The main aim is to destroy as many blocks as you can without running out of air, once you get to the end you've completed the level. And anyone who's already played this game will agree that the sound of the blocks bursting is sweet and satisfactory. Point Blank

This has got to be the BEST shooting games ever invented, like ever!!! The original and the -i think- best of them all. I used to play this all the time in my local arcades and I am the reigning champion; so much money spent on those machines! Now I found this Playstation version, I am singing hallajujah!!!!!
You have to buy it, a definiate must for everyone!!!

Treasures Of The Deep

From the tropics to the Challenger deep, this game has atmosphere in bundles. A very immersive game that has you looking for treasure both in submersibles, and for an extra challenge you can dismount and use just the harpoon gun you carry. The visuals are as good as they get on ps one and the soundtrack keeps the atmosphere going all the way. If you're a budding submariner, or just like drowning your rubber ducky, you should give this game a go.

Namco 5 in 1 Stick (Plug n Play TV Games)

I used to play the original arcade machine, so was delighted when I found this for sale. Lots of fun for the price of a meal and no food poisoning (although your fingers may ache a bit....)

It's a shame that it does not have an mains adaptor socket, as you occasionally find on these products. I use rechargables, which save me a fortune, although the manual recommends you don't. As long as you don't leave them in for an extended period, then you should be OK. Having to unscrew the battery compartment can be a pain if it is well used, but can understand why this is the case.

Reset control is stupidly placed, have deprived myself of some high scores, so it loses a star for that(!).

Air Combat (PS)

This was one of the first games i played for the Playstation back in 1995, its not for everybody but if you liked games like after burner etc you will love this, it had great graphics for the time and was one of the first to use the Playstations HI-Res mode, it has many great levels culminating in one of the best end bosses i've ever seen, the only down side i would wager is that the planes have at first an awful paint job of red blue and white, however when you complete the game the planes are their normal colours, some of the planes are : F-14 Tomcat (of Top Gun Fame), the A-10 Warthog, F-15, and the F-117 Stealth Fighter. Another downside is the Two Player mode which has only one level which has the two contestants stuck in a quarry, without much room to move it makes for some ... Read More:
