GuildWars is an online role-playing game in a fantasy setting, allowing unique customisation and strategy options and does not require a monthly fee to play. This collection comprises all three full games from the series and the expansion pack.

Each of the games follows a unique storyline in a separate continent but allows you to freely move your characters between all continents, so you can use the unique aspects of each of the games across the entire collection.

There are both story based and player versus player modes in the game, each requiring players to master unique methods to overcome many different challenges.

Guild Wars Factions Collectors Edition

if you loved prophecies and probably lost your social life completely for a good few months then your probably in for the same again =P the story in this expansion is just as compelling and exciting as the first, if not more. the new character clases take a bit of getting used to but are effective and add a nice new, fresh feel to the game. the collectors edition is well worth the extra money, apart from all the excellent free items you get, ritualist clost, mousemat, calendar, soundtrack etc you also get a free ingame minipet =D which you can either sell to make yourself some quick cash or name and keep forever =D

Guild Wars Nightfall - Collectors Edition

I have tried game after game after game to try and find one that I could actually get along with. Many other games, both MMORPG and FPS, bored me so much after a while and I would stop playing. Then I would get bored not playing anything. It was my boyfriend that suggested getting this game. He wanted to try it so I thought that I would give it a whirl as well. I had heard many good things about the entire Guild Wars collection and know a lot of people who already play it.

I have really enjoyed this game so far, the guild interaction is brilliant. I know that I can ask anyone in the guild to help me if I need it.

Guild Wars - Eye of the North - Expansion (Jora Sleeve)

I have been playing GW for over 2yrs now, i have all campaigns and this expansion, with all of them complete on hard mode. This expansion is really good, but just doesnt have that same feeling as the others...Like on nightfall going though the campaign, struggling and then you make it and feel like you have really achieved something. This doesnt feel the same at all, because it is so short. I would say that factions is the best still, and that GW is still the best online MMORPG

When i got propices i loved it and got really far and was really happy, i loved and still love guild battles and other pvp's. I got this with really high expectations but then i was let down you get started and you have to leavel up like hell! With the first one by the 3 mission you only had to be lvl 6-8 but on this just after the 2nd mission you *have* to be lvl 20 it si so annoying you get no chance to happly explore the streets of kaining city because you get attack by some lvl 20 thugs who are trying to make a point in a gang war and then the is the flaming afflicted lvl 22 or above! it just simple suicide! eventually it gets better when you get out of that horrible city and choose your side kurzick or luxon (then you can do allince battles which are ... City of Heroes/City of Villains Combined Edition

The character creation process for this game is very good indeed and it's fun just designing new heroes/villians. Unfortunately that is more or less where the fun ends.

The game is just so darned boring. You do the same missions in the same locations against the same enemies over and over again. Most of these missions will take place in 'instances', which means they'll be just you there and no one else. This means that this multiplayer game feels single player most of the time.

Sure, it is fun for a while, blasting the villians (but you never get to blast any 'super' villians, just oridary thugs), but that really is all there is to it and it just never changes. A real pity then.
