More Touchmaster (Nintendo DS)

As a fan of puzzle games, and in particular the first Touchmaster, I was very keen to get my hands on this game when it was released. When I first played it, I just didn't like it at all. However, I have persevered, and now find myself strangely addicted ! As other reviewers have said, the main downside is the lack of the high score table, as this too was a feature I liked with the first Touchmaster, as it made you always want another go, to see of you could edge your way up the scoreboard. However, overall, I am glad I purchased this game, as it has given me many hours of enjoyment.

What a waste of money! I agree with all the negative comments above - this game is the worst Wii game I have. I can't believe that they would allow a load of American questions on the trivia bit when this is coming to an English market - that has to be one of the most ridiculous decisions ever made. The games are boring and there wasn't one I enjoyed that much. I did try to play it again with friends to see if I liked it any more in a group, but I didn't. Don't buy this - you will regret it. Mine's going on an auction site as soon as I get round to it.

Love this game, Its ideal when you need to chill out, relax or have time to kill, the games are all fairly short, good fun and simple to use, while still lightly working your brain, highly recommend for all puzzle lovers!

MK vs DC Universe (Xbox 360)

I am a big fan of the mk series, and i was expecting the same.

The gameplay is much better, controls are good. However the story mode seems to be alittle too easy. The story is good

First tried on story mode, and i finish it. THERE are no second outfits available for mk crew or dc people.

There no unlocking main charactors. so everything is there at the beginning.

which makes the game loss its appeal, as there is no need to come back to the game.

You could see everything in this game in under 3 hours

I just bought it today, and tomorrow i will trade it in

There are a lot of game-play genres to draw us in, including the obvious rpg, flying, racing, shooting, strategy & puzzling etc. etc., but this makes a welcome change to the usual gameplay on any console, and shows that Sony can take up where ground-breaking Nintendo started off. Here, the only person to beat or better is yourself (well, your brain, actually). The game isn't limited to a few categories either, what with Locic (sub-categories: sequencer, shape logic, back seat driver), Memory (scene of the crime, musical memory, pinball wizard), Maths (high & low, cruise ship, equation sensation), language (alphabet, spelling bee, picto-rhymes), and concentration (untangle, shape up, combine). MK vs DC Universe (PS3)

I have just recieved my copy of MK Vs DCU and i find it to be a absolutely fun, pick up and play fighting game, however, the only problem with MK Vs DCU is that there are few unlockables and there is bare ammount of modes, on the other hand, the simplistic gameplay, extraordinary special moves, new free-fall/close kombat and the outrageous fatalities that each of the 20 Main Fighters have should keep you satisfied until MK 8. 9/10 In The Case Of MK Vs DCU, the highs definately overcome the lows and as there is going to be downloadable content such as Characters, Costumes, Arenas etc., this game may have alot of replay value afterall.

Stranglehold (Xbox 360)

If you have played the demo then you dont need to get the game. then demo gives you all the best things from the full game.
Perhaps ive been playing games too long, but max pain on the PC was doing this years ago and with much more depth and fun.
core concept is good and the mechanics work fine, (does feel like they just ripped off the max pain engine) but besides some nice settings its like they didnt have a clue what to do to make into a game, shoot 4 things, plant 4 bombs by pressing a, protect these people for 30 mins while endless waves of bad guys come, badly placed spawn points after death require you to trek though the same area again and again, very old fasioned and really really dull.

Lots of games, all fun to play and lots of variation. My friends have now bought their own copy!
