Age Of Empires III (Mac)

I've owned this a while and have all the expansion packs. Its a fun experience and is very addictive. But there a few areas that could have done with some serious work:

Combat is very shallow, the best tactic to win is to simply build a large army as quickly as possible, and rush your opponent. Thats it! Ensemble could've done a lot worse than taken a look at Cossacks (unfortunately not available on Mac) which is a fantastic example of a strategy game set in this era. At least Cossacks allowed for different formations for your troops to take - and if you knew what you were doing - it was quite possible to overcome sheer numbers with the right tactics.

AI has some issues - on maps with islands, or a dividing river, you'll ... Read More:

Age of Mythology (Mac)

Brilliant game. especially if you are into age of empires. Graphics are brilliant. The different soldiers are brilliant. soldiers like medusa,cyclops and achilles and many more. If you are buying this for a child they can learn about ancient myths while having fun.

I got this for my Mac Mini, and have had no technical problems with it. It is a good game, but two things in my eyes really let it down. The first thing is that you are not able to change the camera angle to look at things differently, and the second thing is that it is quite hard to control when you are putting things like water in.
But then again, it is a Microsoft product! It is a good game apart from that though. The music gets a bit annoying after a while, and although the graphics are not that good, it does allow it to be played on computers with inergrated graphics cards.

If you own the origanal Age Of Empires III on Mac then you should deffently get this expantion pack it makes the game play even more incredible and adds to the whole experiance, I think others will enjoy when this was set in time for Age Of Empires and it looks great on my Mac!!!!

Unreal Tournament 3 (Mac)

If you own the origanal Age Of Empires III on Mac then you should deffently get this expantion pack it makes the game play even more incredible and adds to the whole experiance, I think others will enjoy when this was set in time for Age Of Empires and it looks great on my Mac!!!!

Rise of Nations - Gold Edition (Mac)

This games been out for a while now but i still love to spend an hour or two building or battling away either online or offline. When this game first came out hardly anyone knew about it, and thats most likely the reason why it hasn't t really took off.
The game-play is sharp and quick and, if you play it properly, you never have a moment where your waiting for your resources to fill up. There are a number of different things to do on RoN. You can decide to do a campaign and you are given an option to do campaigns like the cold war and alexander the great. Or you can just do conquer the world, pick a nation and take over the world your style. The take over the world campaign is much like risk where you have a large map of the world and the ... A superb game that will keep you going for years to come. all three of the NWN series of expansion packs are now available on the Macintosh.

Simply the best role playing game going bar none, the universe is massive and the online aspect of NeverWinterNights is where all the action is.
