A not bad effort from the creator of Dark Fall.
The plot itself is not half-bad, even if there is a non-sensical and silly back story to the main character.
Throughout the adventure I felt very much compelled to carry on and see the story to its conclusion, even more so when things got genuinely spine-tingling towards the end.
For the most part the game follows a decent pace and I found the play time to be just about perfect. In all it took me about four days of solid play to finish, which is practically epic in this genre.
The puzzles are of a decent quality and are all logical and well placed. I only really found myself stuck once, but it was my fault for missing a vital clue (which in fairness ... Read More:

Played on Windows Vista64bit(Run as admin)
I got this game off the back of having completed "The Lost Crown"(made by the same person). And I am highly dissapointed with Barrow Hill. First off its a first person perspective, which i hated, i much prefer a 3rd person view, so i can see my character, and watch them interact with the surroundings. Secondly there were hardly any people to interact with during the whole game, a total of 2(unless you count animals, 3). I prefer to interact with NPC's to gather information, but here its like school work, where you have to read pages & pages of dialogue from books or notes ZZZzzzzz.....The story is dull as dishwater and totaly laugable at points. The voice acting is amateur. The only thing ... Read More:

This is one of the strangest games I've played in a long time. Just think about it for a moment - a point and click adventure game made in 2008 and set in Wales?!? I'm not welsh but I think it's nice to set a game somewhere other than the usual settings of the USA, London etc.
There're lots of nice touches such as when you start the game and you hear a horse but can't see one and you wonder what's going on but a newspaper left on the floor tells you the story of a local "ghost horse" terrorising the area. Upon entering the house you can play back phone messages from a local van driver (complete with Welsh accent!) who's claiming money off you for your horse damaging his van and your wife/girlfriend reminding you about putting a fire on. ... I got this game last year, I saw it on the internet and the more i saw pictures and video's of it the more i wanted it. I got the game and completed most of the missions and then there was a update then i lost all of my progress which meant i needed to restart all over again. It is a fun game though just sailing in some of the worlds best boats. You can change the weather to what ever you want and change the time of day. Make it a nice calm summer's night with a sunset or make it a winters night with huge waves and rain. The graphics are very good in the game but i feel the sounds could improve. Online play is great very fun and i have spent many hours on it sailing and chatting away to people. I really like this game but feel that there is a few things ... Read More:

This game is useless if you run Windows Vista as it will not load or run on Vista. Neither the support company or the software authors could help, saying 'there is a known issue with Vista and anti-virus software'. Not very helpful when you have a game that cannot be loaded on your PC. WARNING - do not buy this product if you run Vista. I am trying to get my money back.

After several attempts the game loaded - just - but several severe bugs remain. If you're into cursing and swearing at computer programmes then you'll definitely have fun with this. Reading other reviews on the web it appears that 'T34' has been released well before it should have been. Even when running the game appears as the sort of a low-end 'shoot-em up' that may have amused gamers 10+ years ago. Even on maximum settings I don't think that the graphics are that special and the lack of sophistication renders it suitable only for multi-players who are very easily amused. If you are considering buying I'd wait until a demo is available or at least a patch or three.

The game is good fun when it's working but is quite slow loading on my computer which is a Window XP Home. The game is very realistic but the graphics are very slow loading when showing big, complicated harbor landscapes. Overall a good game, enjoyable.

Played this for few hours now, and really enjoying it. I gather from reviews that it's somewhat short, but so far I've been impressed with the mood, the art and the chills (especially the noise in the corridor bit.. very Lovecraft). Looking forward to finishing it.. probably at 4am :)

This game is visually impressive but that is outweighed by the number of bugs. I have yet to complete more than 30mins play before the game becomes unplayable or freezes (and I have a high-end computer). The controls are difficult to manipulate and on a number of occasions I have ended-up crashing the boat because I could not move the throttles. I think that the producers of this game really need to go back to the drawing board and test this software properly before marketing it. However,I suppose that for £17 you can't complain much.

Having just finished Keepsake and having seen the mixed reviews here I thought that it needed some clarification, so here it is.
Keepsake is not a good game, but neither is it a woefully bad one. I'll explain...
The pros:-
The puzzles on the whole are very nice little games. They even have a hint system built in in case you get stuck (which you almost definitely will on some of them as they can be quite obscure as to what you actually have to do). Other than that, they're very enjoyable.
The scenery is very pretty and it can be nice to just wonder around the building... at first (I'll get to that later).
If you pick up an item, a nice touch is that the item actually appears on your character and is actually carried (it doesn't ... Read More:
