Theme Park (Nintendo DS)

Its starts of great. You get to create a theme park and change it. But then you sell it on and start all over again. I thought the idea of being able to see other theme parks was great but when I tried to connect with my friend I found it didnt work! I dont know why though because we tried connecting on another game and was fine! This game is very repetitive but is good if you dont plan to play on it all the time. It would probably be more fun if you were the right age group wich I think is probably 7 - 10 year olds as it is too complicated for very young children but gets very boring if you are older. The Sims 2: Apartment Pets (Nintendo DS)

I thought this would be more fun but its like the sims 2 pets.
Like the other person says you do the same things over and over again.
I have played it for an hour of buying it and going to trade it in tomorrow I am a total sims fan but this really was disapointing.
Please don't waste your money as most stores now will not let you take it back onced seal has been broken.

Littlest Pet Shop (Wii)

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter and I can't get her off it. She loves collecting the pets, dressing them up and playing games with them. Its really easy to control so is great for a child; no worries about them getting frustrated. It keeps their interest by constantly adding new pets, clothes, games and worlds to explore. Maybe actually more fun than the real thing as the pets are "alive". In my opinion all girls aged 4-8 will love it.

Hasbro Family Game Night (Wii)

Need for Speed: ProStreet (PS2)

If you love the Need for Speed series then you'll love this game. Wait, did I say love. I meant HATE!!

Need for Speed has always been my choice for driving games. With the release of NFS underground you had the bonus of designing cars aswel as driving them. This was bettered in the follow up; NFS underground 2. The next NFS release was NFS Most Wanted. And How AMAZING was that? I loved it. Then NFS Carbon was released, also a great game...

then what went wrong?! I'm not going to bore you with the detailed ins and outs of this game (although its worth mentioning the level set up is rubbish and its all track based - rather than street based), but I will some up by saying...

Rock Band - Solus (PS3)

OK so i too was one of those to import it from the states. I found the song choice and the guitars much better than that for guitar hero. Ok so the rock band 2 is due out later this year but the songs obviously won't be the same. The drums are a little hard to get used to but it adds more of a challenge which makes it all that more fun. I had the mic, two guitars and the drum kit on with friends.. although none of us sang great it was such a laugh.

Truely awesome game though. just a note that i tried adding the UK downloadable songs to my US version and they wont work so make sure you get the UK version!!!!!

Skate (Xbox 360)

If your stuck on choosing between Skate or TH proving grounds like I was at Christmas last year you should buy Skate as overall it is the better game, as a skater myself I can say that skate is easily 10 times as realistic as TH and you can have more fun the just button mashing to see how many tricks you can do. Also skate is about the closest gaming will ever get to the feel of actually skating where as TH is just press some buttons do some ridiculous combo, skate involves actual skill to do lots of the tricks and you stack if you don't land them well but in TH you will almost always just keep going so I think that if your stuck on which to buy, then skate is the game for you!

Medal of Honor: Airborne (Xbox 360)

Amazing game but it is hard it is one of the best games out there if you play it and you have the HDMI cable it is even better.

It took me a week to finish and I cant remember how many times I was killed on the last level which by the way takes a while.

Medal Of Honor: Heroes 2 (Wii)

The Wii has had shortage of good, solid first-person shooters since the very beginning, and MOH2 does little to change things.

But first things first ... is it worth a punt? Yes if you can find it, as I did, for £15 or so. Anything higher and you'll feel short changed.

The problem with MOF2 is certainly not in the controls. In fact I'd go as far as saying these are single handedly the best FPS controls on any home console, besting even the sublime action of Metroid. Aiming and strafing is so quick, so responsive that playing Halo on my Xbox now feels incredibly clunky. The range of actions utilising the wii-remote is impressive, from grenade throws to shoulder-hefting bazooka action and a brilliantly unwieldy section where the player wrestles with the wii-mote ... Crysis Warhead (PC DVD)

I always check the reviews on Amazon before considering buying a game. In this case it's done me a favour. I liked the first Crysis game and I'd probably like this one. But there's plenty of other games to keep me going and I won't buy this unless I have an unlikely change of heart :such as a re-release without DRM.
