I have read some bizzare reviews of this game, including ones where they complain about grainy graphics ? I played it on a 40" Samsung LCD TV and the graphics blew me away. It looks fantastic and gives real immersion factor. The vistas are almost photo realistic at times. Being able to blow builings up is great fun and never gets tired.
In places it would be impossible without your health injector that means if you take care you never die. But I don't like to be frustrtaed by my games with constant deaths so I really like this feature.
The sound is awesome throughout, the weapons varied and excellent to use. The vehicles massive fun and the specialist items such as precision airstrikes and mortar strikes are brilliantly executed. ... Read More:

Spore Creature Creator (Mac/PC DVD)

A family member installed this birthday present on my laptop w/o asking me. It installed but will not run on my Toshiba Satellite laptop. Instead an error is displayed saying the graphics card is not good enough to run it! I had the same problem with Microsoft WWII combat flight simulator.

I don't know if Creature Creator has the same undesirable Digital Rights Management issues as the main Spore game, as we never got to install that. But had I known, I would have barred installation of both, as it can supposedly interfere with CD-RW drivers. Both Spore & Spore Creature Creator will be returned for a refund, as not fit for purpose/not of merchanisable quality, leaving a very disappoint child & peaved parents & grandparents. ... MADDEN NFL 09 (PS3)

UNBLEIEVABLY GOOD. GO AND GET IT NOW. Youll be amazed at how much better it is than last one (which was incredible too). Definately worth getting and especially because Tiger Woods is no better than Tiger 2006. Youve seen how much EA sports have closed the gap on pro evolution soccer and this is the year to get the lot.

Burnout Paradise (Xbox 360)

the graphics are amazing the crashes are insane and the racing is ridiculously fast and furious, a brilliant game only one player racing but the lack of tracks and freedom to race through the city and takedown other cars makes gameplay gripping, the cars look amazing and the soundtracks great, best racing game ever played

MySims (Nintendo DS)

I tried to purchase this game from F-Y-M (Free Your Mind). After receiving two games from other suppliers in double-quick time, I contacted F-Y-M to enquire if my goods had been dispatched, as I'd already received the other stuff. All had been purchased from Amazon at the same time.

F-Y-M made no attempt to contact me. In fact, I received a response from Amazon rather than F-Y-M. I had been given a refund as the supplier could not ship the goods. Thanks Amazon, professional service as ever.

I'm not alone nor am I the first in being disappointed with the service provided by F-Y-M so I'd urge caution in trading with this Seller. Buyers beware!!

EA Playground (Wii)

My son [12] chose this game under a two for £20 deal. I commented 'not sure if it has good reviews on Amazon' [mostly it has, as it turned out]. My son enjoyed playing and particularly liked 'collecting stickers to open other parts of the game, plus they give you power-ups'. I asked which games are the best? : 'all of them' apparently. He awarded it 4*. Given the title and game-play, it's obviously aimed at kids from about 7 to 13, although those older might enjoy playing it for a while with their mates. My son likes it in both single player against the PC and as multiplayer - he even got mum to play against him [for the first time since Wii sports]. enjoyed the game
never had problem with it
amazing graphics
great depth
new 3d engine
i highly recommand the game
it is just great for hardcore and normal users
the only catch is graphic card, i had to upgrade my pc

The Simpsons (PS2)

I only have one complaint about The Simpsons Game, the graphics, they are absolutely appauling. This is the reason I gave it 3 stars, but apart from that, this is a really good game, just be warned about the graphics.

Rugby 08 (PS2)

Like another reviewer that can't get this to run on their quad core machine, I cannot get this to run on a Nvidia SLI based machine.
I have spent hours going through the EA helpdesks suggestions to get this to work, but basically it hasn't been tested on SLI and just crashes on start-up.

Bottom line, if you have a high spec machine that Rugby 08 should look wonderful on, you won't even see the splash screen.
