Personally I would only reccomend this to younger and first time sims players not to bigger fans and don't get it if you already have a sims pc game here are my reasons:
1. When creating a family you can only create adult sims and pets no babys,toddlers,children,teenagers,or old people.
2. The houses you build only can have 1 floor and you don't start off with as much money to build the house so your sims often become poor quickly.
3. The cheats are not very we had a money cheat and it only worked once where as on the pc version the number of times you use it is unlimted.
4. The sims don't age
5.The sims can't have children.
6. Sims don,t die
7. Sims needs increse quicker.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (PC DVD)

I bought this when it first came out around £30 something and well worth every penny, at £10 (at the time of writing) an excellent bargain for christmas.
* great RTS game for series fans and newcomers alike
* great campaign features a ton of quality full-motion video
* Fast-paced gameplay is fun and exhilarating
* Scrin race is a fantastic, balanced addition to the C&C universe
* Multiplayer is awesome
* BattleCast turns the thrilling multiplayer into a spectator sport.
Having played all the previous C & C games I found the AI to be much better as well.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (PC DVD)

The graphics are good, the concept is good but the control method on PC is dreadful, for some reason Harry is onscreen anywhere apart from where you want him and he can be facing any direction so when you press the control keys you get unexpected movements, I wish they had made it classic 3rd person control so he is always facing forward, at least that way when you press the forward key he would go forward, add to that the fact that Ron and Hermione are with him 90% of the time and keep getting in the way which makes this game really frustrating. It is good that you can explore Hogwarts as much as you want but it would be better if you could use the map to jump to locations instead of having to run everywhere with the awful control system, you seem ... Fight Night Round 3 (PS2)

Fight Night round 3 is a good game but it could have been so much more. I like boxing but was uncertain if this game would actually interest me or just irritate like other fighting games. It certainly did the former.

The Total Punch Control is a thing of genius. It allows realistic dynamic fighting once mastered and makes winning fights a skillful process. The gameplay allows for various styles to be developed and made successful which makes this highly addictive and entertaining. There are some great fighters to pick from and you can get your teeth into some of the classic encounters (although not literally as there is no Mike Tyson).

I had been looking for this game for ages and when I finally bought it, at first i was confused and fustrated with having to look after my pets and also my sim. But i soon caught on and now i can play it for hours.

Not much is different from The Sims 2, except some items of clothing, hairstyles and so home materials and of course not forgetting the addition of a furry friend to your home.

You can choose from many breeds of cats and dogs and even get mixed breeds through randomize or through breeding ( you can not breed a cat with a dog of course ), you can even give your pet a jacket, shoes and a hat or glasses (much like those annoying few who actually do dress up their animals). Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II - The Rise of the Witch-King Expansion Pack (PC DVD)

My god! I thought Battle for Middle Earth II was bad, but it was sheer brilliance compared to this! The first thing I noticed was how the witch king doesn't sound remotley like the one from the film & now the characters are more like something from a poor RTS clone of Warcraft.
In the end, I just couldn't stand to play it. I was in love with the first game, but EA just proved that they're sole motivation here was a quick cash grab.
Avoid like the plague!

Portal (PC DVD)

Portal a spin off to the massive Half Life series of shooters is a fantastic black comady/sci fi game which which gives a push to the normal style of play in newer games.

I cant say much without giving anything away but in short its short.
I mean in runtime it will only take around a few hours but its cheap and one of the best games in along time.

BUT be warned crazy action types this might not be for you this is NOT a shooter its a whole new thing.

Buy it just do it.

Team Fortress 2 (PC DVD)

I'll try and keep this brief. The premise of Team Fortress 2 seems simple. Roughly 24 players are split into two teams- red and blue, and they fight over battlefield objectives determined by the current server map. Objectives are of the standard capture the flag/king of the hill type, but it is the variety of classes and potential for teamwork that makes this the stand out title. The classes are superbly balanced- each of them has their own abilities that are sufficiently different from the other classes to give them their own unique feel and playstyle. Valve perfected this, and no one class feels super powerful or able to lord it over the others.
