Good points:
Generally a good RTS. Enough different units to learn and manage. Good documentation with the DVD. Interesting cut-scenes and the whole story. Amazing visuals. I totally loved terrorist style units and strategy of the NOD.

Bad points:
Only 30fps! Even at lowest graphics quality, regardless what machine you have - still only 30fps maximum! Because of this some camera movement feels jumpy and rarely your actions are ignored.
Sometimes units stuck in some places and can't find a way to a destination.

Overall:
Fun game, but could be better if mentioned problems would be fixed.

The Sims 2: Nightlife Expansion Pack (PC CD)

this game is soooo good!firstly you get to add a downtown to your towns so all sims can get a taxi or drive themselves to all sorts of nightclubs,places to eat,spas,bowling allies,ect.I love this game and couldnt live without it but the only thing is i think there should be a few extras like perhaps your sims could hier a limo!

Army of Two (Xbox 360)

This game is great, it provides entertaiment each and every time you play it which is something i have done constantly. Its only flaw is that its campaign is short however that doesn't stop me playing the game over and over. This is a certain buy if you want to be entertained.

My wife bought me the PSP Slim and Lite, I normally do all my gaming on the PC, so the PSP was a bit of an unknown quantity, the games seemed quite expensive for what looked like a low tech console, however, I wanted to have at least one game that would have great longevity and would be great to play with my wife and friends. I went for PGA 09 although it seemed expensive, however, I have been very surprised how good this game is, the graphics are great for a small console, better than the competition but obviously not as good as a PC. The number of courses and competitions you can play is vast, certainly months and months worth of gaming. I found this game very disappointing, having just came from most wanted, I thought that, being the sequel's sequel, it would be two steps better.

WRONG!

The game play is boring, and it has no bodykit or spoiler customisation. The tuned cars you see on the back of the box are pre-tuned cars that you only get on the last 4 racetracks. The only visual customisation that you have is rims, window decals, and paint, and that is basically all the customisation I can remember.

The reason I can't remember is because I spend my time re-completing Most Wanted (which you can get for a fiver in good used condition) and is not around four times worse, as the price would suggest, but three times ... Read More:

The Sims 2: Pets (Nintendo DS)

I really enjoyed playing The Sims on the pc so I was really disappointed when I got this for the DS and found that you couldn't build your own house or meet people, only clients. Once you've treated the animals and seen to the clients there's not much else to do really, apart from maybe buy things or whatever, but if you're trying to save your money to get a bigger house (the first house is really small with hardly any room for anything) then that isn't really an option. The game doesn't take long to "complete", you can train your pet which is ridiculously easy but the pet can only stay in the kennel meaning you can only have 2 patients in at a time, so once you've seen to them and they've been picked up by their owners you're just waiting for more patients.

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II (PC DVD)

This is a sequel to BFME 1, few advancements from the first game; better create a hero for custom heroes, war of the ring mode (which is very engaging even in single player. The game is let down slightly in the campaign, very cookie cut style campaigns. This game really comes out to its own in Multiplayer. Very engaging, loads of fun teaming with friends to play against the computer, or even against each other. I paid full price for this game, worth every penny - now the price has droped to £7.91 (at the time of writing) go grab yourself a bargain stocking filler - cant go wrong!

This is a complete waste of time, graphics are bad (not sure what they were trying to do) and gameplay is equally as bad. Dont waste your money buy /keep Kanes Wrath which is a brilliant C and C game.

Half-Life 2: The Orange Box (PS3)

I thought this game would be good and it is but... not really my thing, sure its great value for money with 5 separate features at a great price but the puzzle solving and the long complex ghoulish levels are a pain and very annoying at times. The game play i will say however is very entertaining and is darn good fun but can be repetitive.
