This product is fantastic. Press the button to turn it in to a TOOL battery. Press it again to return it back to normal. That's it. No fuss, no muss.
Ideal for, well, you're looking at this product for a reason, and it's perfect for it anyway.

At the moment, your Nintendo Wii consoles will store game saves and Virtual Console games on the built-in Wii memory. Later on this will become full and an SD memory card will be required.
The memory card is inserted in the front flap of the console where the controller sync button is located. On the Wii menu, select Wii options at the bottom and data management. This is where you can view data on your gamecube and SD memory cards. Game saves can be stored on your SD card and from what I understand, Virtual Console and Channels can be stored on it to give you more room. However, these can only be used on the console they were downloaded with.

To use it with your games (It does work really well when you have the know-how) you need a program called Xlink xai. Also look for WiFi Max tutorials on sites such as youtube. It isn't a plug in and play thing.Games like Monster hunter freedom (1 or 2) on the PSP are great fun to play over the net! So don't listen to,"This product doesn't work" get the program, get the tutorials and it's worth it.

MY SON GOT THIS CARD IN 2002 WITH HIS PLAYSTATION HE WAS NINE AT THE TIME. HE HAS HAD NO PROBLEM SAVING ANY GAMES. HE HAS NO OTHER PS2 MEMORY CARD THE ONLY PROBLEM HE HAS WITH IT IS THAT YOU HAVE TO LOAD THE CD FIRST.

I bought this having had problems with the Competition Pro reader. The main reason for buying it was that it claims to work with the MAX memory cards.
While I did manage to transfer all files from my Sony card, unfortunately the reader didn't recognise the MAX card - apparently this only happens with a small percentage, but I have read another review from someone with the same problem.
Using the PS2 memory card manager I did manage to transfer the saves over - it took a while, but I have now got all of my PS2 saves on my PS3.
In summary, I got there in the end, but it would have been much quicker if the reader had done what it is supposed to do.
