TOCA Race Driver 2 (PSP)

This is the first game I played on the PSP and I was blown away by how good it is.

Apart from the obvious slight drop in quality of the graphics, the game is a direct port of the PS2 version.

The controls take a bit of getting used to, but once you are comfortable with the analogue "nub" its every bit as fun as the PS2 version. Like a lot of other reviewers I am stuck on 80 something percent as the ice race or truck race are seemingly impossible. I will keep going trying though and if I can't win them Ill just play on tracks that I have unlocked already.

A superb game and must have for fans of driving games everywhere.

you have got to have patience, skill and to actually like the sport before buying the game. rated the best cricket game in history..... yes, i can agree to that to an extent i think the new film cars is rubish

Rafa Nadal Tennis (Nintendo DS)

I literally only got this game yesterday, it's the first time I've ever played a video game and I'm finding it really good. You can set the options to play using either the stylus or buttons, the Tennis School tutorial will adjust accordingly. Personally I'm using the stylus and it's easy now I've got the hang of it. The tutorial takes you through various different moves and shots and lets you practice before you start playing for real.
I'm playing as Rafa in Career Mode and have so far won three tournaments (Stockholm, Detroit and New York). I'm replaying them each several times to gain extra credits to boost my skills before I tackle Athens, because as an earlier reviewer noted, there is a significant step up in difficulty along with the ... Sensible Soccer 2006 (PS2)

Ok first of all the greatest football game I ever played was Sensible Soccer 95/96 on the Amiga, the upgrade version for season 96/97 was just as good and I still have these games up until now. The gameplay in these games is much better then anything that's ever been produced since, Pro Evolution Soccer, Fifa, none of them can compare. I think the problem with this game being so bad is they have obviously changed the game, but the point is they didn't need to, why not keep the original, re-release it with season 2006/2007, so we would have new players, i would love to make a new Sensible Soccer team like I used to and buy players like Ronaldinho and Henry and Kaka. I was never a big fan of Sensible soccer,and didn't like all the management options in SWOS.I felt Kick off 2 was much superior as you had to learn all the skills before you could even start scoring goals...(oooh) This is also true to some extent with S.Soccer 2006 and makes for a much more challenging game.Too easy for you?? Choose a low starred team then take on the big boys!The slight camera angle overhead is great, the game speed is perfect and you will pull off some great passes and goals as you learn the tricks of the trade.Buy yourself a competition pro joystick from Amazon,win the leagues,bring the world cup home and have some fun!

This game could have been great, it has excellent graphics and often the gameplay is absorbing and rewarding, but it is unfortunately let down by inconsistent and often frustrating car handling, and unfair opposition race ability.
On some races it can take a lot of luck and every ounce of skill to beat the opposition (or at least finish high enough to progress) and then the next 3 or 4 races can all be won without much difficulty at all.
It can get so frustrating when playing fair (and getting beat) that you can't help but try and cheat, crashing into the opposition at a hairpins or tight bends and hoping that you come out in front. A lot of reviews have been really unfair on this game. I played it all of the way through the opn-beta phase and simply loved it.

I have to say, being a pay-to-play was never going to work. The game was never that good. But now it is free-to-play it's pretty good. The game content is quite varied, with a full fledged world map and PvP system.

Like any game it has it's draw backs. At the beginning, it's a tad repetative. However, once you get a deccent way through the game, it really comes to life.

Another niggle is the movement system, which I would think they should have fixed by now. When you click to move quite a distance away, instead of automatically navigating around obsticles, you get stuck. Which gets quite frustrating at times.

Brian Lara International Cricket (Xbox)

When I received this game as a reward, I was excited as it was the first cricket game I had ever received.

This game is very easy to pick up, very realistic, you can create your own character which I'm not a fan of but there a few bad points...

Let me explain...

When you want to play on normal mode or multiplayer, the players on teams don't have their correct names and are not the same people.
This can be frustrating when you see that the tournaments have the correct players and names and when the game designers could have spent more time fixing this problem.
The graphics aren't anything special but are quite good.
