Ok, I had read all the reviews about needing a very high spec pc and although my pc isn't super duper I thought it would probably work ok like all my other high spec games. I bought my pc about 2 years ago, then it was very good, (7600gs 256mb, 500gb sata, 2gb ram, pentium 2 core duo). Now that is quite good I think. However at 1240 by 1024 at the lowest detail settings it still only gave about 4fps with a steering lag of about 1.5 seconds (my formula force ex steering wheel works perfectly with other games) i decided to turn the graphics down a notch or two. I ended up at the lowest possible setting, still with a notisable steering lag! Even at the lowest setting it still looks sort of ok, but not great at all.

Hmm, having read the previous reviews it seems the vast majority of the negative ones have issues with everything except the actual GAMEPLAY, and are mostly subscription based complaints.

Well let me confirm straight away that as an MMO yes...you do have to pay a subscription. If you only wish to dabble and do not wish to pay a monthly fee then don't purchase it, but to be fair LOTRO is one of the cheaper MMO's out there and has a variety of packages to suit the pockets of most gamers, from month by month to annual to lifetime.

Clive Barker's Jericho (PC DVD)

Slickly put together demo with a VERY annoying "push the buttons in the right order" sequence which is very console play rather than anything I would ever expect on a pc game. Very short demo your just getting the hang of it and then its over. Looks and feels very much like an animated story where you have limited control over things than a GAME. Reminds me of an Very expensive Arcade game called Dragons Lair. May buy this if its cheap enough but I am not expecting too much from it apart from a pretty animated story.

Race Driver: Create and Race (Nintendo DS)

It sometimes is hard to control. The other cars are quite mean because they push you off the track. But it is very fun when you play. I like being able to build my own tracks. But you can only save 3 tracks. (I am 7 years old).

LMA Manager 2007 (PS2)

I dont understand reviewers by saying this game is slow!!as a fan of football manager series on the pc and the next installment not out till november time, i saw my cousin playing this and thought i would give it a try, my first thoughts were why didnt i get this game when it came out, it is actually really good, the match engine is obviously the stongest link in the game, i love watching my matches in fast mode, its also good that you can do the stadium up when and if you like..so if your low on cash dont bother..or you can even buy a new stadium(you need a lot of cash for this)overall an enjoyable game and i would recommend to any1..pity that no more will be made!!

Heatseeker (Wii)

I wasn't expecting this game to be that good as of some of the reviews on other game sites, however, it is terribly underated. The controls are really good once you have got the hang of them. The planes look great and the difference between each one in the handeling is very noticable. The graphics may not be great, but, the the sence of speed that you get is great especially when a plane passes you with metres to spare. I would highly recommend anyone with a wii to buy this game or at least look into it!

Hospital Tycoon (PC DVD)

If you're thinking about buying this game... please don't!

For some reason the game wasn't beta tested prior to its official release and, despite widespread problems with the game, there are no patches for it.

The game is full of bugs and a quick look at the Codemasters forum for Hospital Tycoon will give you a good indication of just how bad things are with it.

Thankfully I only spent a few pounds buying this game so it's not a big loss however it is a missed opportunity.

Hospital Tycoon could have been a very good game had the developers cared about it enough to make sure it was properly tested or at least patched. They clearly don't care though and are quite happy to carry on taking peoples money for it.

Brian Lara 2007 Pressure Play (PSP)

This game has got quite good graphics, but the gameplay is crap!. Please dont get this game and waste your money. it is so repetitive that once youve had 3 overs you feel bored. the loading times are about 5 minutes and it literally means that you have to put it down and wait. and no matter how high you put the difficulty setting the opposition will never get better than 100 runs unless you have just started playing. Please dont waste your money, this is a rubbish game!

TOCA Race Driver 3 Challenge (PSP)

TOCA 2 on the PSP was fantastic. Obviously the graphics were of slightly less quality than the PS2 version but apart from that the PSP was a direct port from the PS2 one.

TOCA 3 on the PS2 is one of the best driving games available on any platform and there is literally hours and hours of fun to be had. Maybe I should have taken more notice of the word "challenge" in the title of the PSPS version. I was expecting it to be another direct port but sadly it isn't.

Gone are the huge variety of different cars to complete events in and its place are just five championships at ever increasing difficulty levels.
