Truly a super racer and for me the only one I pick up now.
Initially I toyed with the demo, struggled a bit with the unwieldy and twitchy steering the rwd BMW touring cars posed but the reviews said "stick with it, you'll get it". Well, it felt a bit friskier than PGR3, Forza 2 and the like but true enough, I did stick with it. And boy am I glad I persevered!
Suddenly it clicks and you feel totally connected with the car and the road - the steering and suspension is so much more fluid and alive than the likes of Forza.
Once you've put a few laps in (and realised that you can't cane it on full lock with cold tyres and expect not to spin out) you will get it and you will love it.
Beautiful graphics, incredible crash ... Read More:

i think it is so good. I think the game is so realistic because when you have a crash it is just like in real life. If you have a massive crash you can not couninue with the race. I think it is very good.

You sometimes get real players names and sometimes you dont?
The online connection will drop out randomly and the whole thing was rushed out in time for the World Cup.
If you can get it for a fiver AND you are an absolute cricket nut then it might be worth five quid, otherwise its buggy, and dull and i wished i hadnt wasted by cash on it ...

Gameplay is good and gets harder as you go along. Basically the same as jewel quest but with extras such as lightning balls and other weapons to blast symbols away. Very addictive game and for only £13 a bargain. Also try Luxor, another great addictive puzzle game for the DS

This game could have been very good. It has a not bad career mode, six rallys each with seven stages and a host of other events. The controls are fully customisable, a must in any modern driving game, and you set the difficulty level before each event so if something is a bit too difficult for you or you just want to get through it easily you can choose an easier level.
But the graphics are an absolute disgrace. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't look too bad, it is the framerate that is the problem. I have a PS3, a modern state of the art games machine, so why are Codemasters releasing something so slow and jerky that it wouldn't even be acceptable on an old Atari ST?

I'm not a huge fan of shooters but early PS3 games like the excellent Resistance: Fall of Man encouraged me to try this one out. Visually, it's very slick: there's blood and slime all over the screen and the movement is very smooth and immersive. However, I barely got through the first couple of big fights before trading this one in. Gameplay is awful and keeping cotnrol of a team of 5 or 6 dumbass "heroes" who do nothing but wander blindly into the firing line is nigh on impossible. I have no idea how you'd manage to finish such a dumb game and I don't think anyone ever has. Rubbish.

I've just been reading the reveiws and thought I should defend Jericho.
I played it on the PS3 and I liked it.... that was with out dual-shock.... the absence of a bit of rumbling when shooting was a let down for me hence why I was looking at it for the 360.
I would say that if you are just looking for a bit of mindless fun then for less than what.... ten quid now, this is definately worth a shot.
Yes it can get frustrating at times and yes it can get repetative too... but if you're not planning on spending 6 hours solid playing it, then have a go!
As vouched for in most of the other reviews, the graphics are rather tasty!
Plus killing things with guns is fun... hmmm... forgot about Denied Ops.... that was poor.....

I`ve played rather a lot of driving games in my life. My favourites now are Gran Turisimo 5 -prologue (PS3), Colin McRea Dirt (Xbox360), and Mario kart for Wii and DS. Thats so far for my tastes in racing games, so the reader will know as to what I compare GRID with.
GRID for the DS is the follow-up to RaceDriver: Create and Race. This first game was good, but had several bif flaws: the cars were too slow on the wheel, the cpu-opponents were all too difficult. And even though graphics were very good on the cars, the background was boring, flat, blocky, and one could hardely see far enough ahead to take curves smoothly (unless you learned the course perfectly).
In GRID a lot of improvements have been done and the result is a very impressive non-cartoon driving ... Read More:
