SBK -08: World Superbike 2008 (Xbox 360)

It's a good fun game, but seems to lack some depth and playability.
The bike setup can make a lot of difference but takes some learning and the difficulty levels don't seem very 'even' - 'Easy' is very easy and 'hard' is almost impossible.
The graphics are awesome and equally the audio; you can tell when a Ducati is approaching without looking!
There's only one view in the game, from behind the bike, and it's quite low. This can make it tricky when speeding into a braking zone as you can't see who's in front of you and you both end up in the gravel.
The weather effects are good and you do have to play it differently when it's raining.

Why on earth does Sony allow games like this to be released on the PS3 format, it just further supports the argument that most of my friends have that the Xbox may not be as powerful but hell they have better games. I was thoroughly disappointed spending yet another £40 on a game, oh well at least I've got a blu-ray player!!!!

Why on earth does Sony allow games like this to be released on the PS3 format, it just further supports the argument that most of my friends have that the Xbox may not be as powerful but hell they have better games. this game works fine on my pc, i have a quad core 2.4 2gig memory and radeon x1950 pro 512mb agp...

i've only played this game on extreme simulation mode, i havent bothered basic or arcade, people on forums keep moaning and crying about how you cant use a steering wheel as the controller, it seems alot of people use game pads

goto ebay, type in the search...thrustmaster free styler bike,
if you are lucky you'll see a pair, there are two versions a pc version, and a ps2 version, they are dirt cheap, and work fully with sbk01 and sbk08 and all the very poor motogp games, (free styler bike) plug n play handle bars :) no software needed, works great with windows xp and vista...anolog throttle and front brake, power sliding in sbk08 ...
