When I first started this game, I was amazed by the graphics and the combat style. VAT's is just great fun, especially when you get a few levels higher and have skills to blow people in to shreds. Okay, a bit gruesome, but still it's part of the game.

The main quest line is slightly short, but you can easily crank out 30-40 hours playing this game, which for me is a decent amount. The problem with these 30-40 hours is that quite a lot of it you will be wondering around a huge map, trying to work out how to get past rubble. Once you get all the way points on your map, its a lot more fun because there is less walking involved.

Best Rpg of 2008 i think so

First play for me was aprox 25 hours spread across two weeks of my game-time and the main story is complete. And it was great fun.
Like sci-fi ? Fallout 3 is a great place to take your head.
The speech has improved from Oblivion and is far less Generic .
The combat system worked well for me , and after my character gained a few levels found i could battle in real time !

Now for a replay and just focus on the many varied sub-missions

And also i will try and find Dogmeat this time too.

I had no probs with disc check here so thank you Bethesda for trusting the public who still buy games.

After MGS4 came and went, Fallout 3 was my next most anticipated game of the year, and after finally getting time to play it, I find my feelings on the final product a bit mixed.

It is as open and free as you'll expect if you've played previous Bethesda classic Oblivion, as Fallout 3 is pretty much identical in how most of the game works, but with a delightfully fifties centric view of a possible post apocalyptic future where you're free to roam the lands around ruined Washington DC following a fairly interesting central quest that sees you cross paths with some very well realised creatures and denizens of the wastes and presents a very satisfying, if slightly repetitive world in which to live.

I just got and installed the game. When I click "new game" I get a "your game has stopped working" error and windows gives me the option to close the program.

Unplayable ... probably all this secuROM 7 stuff everyone else is on about.

OK, since this is the collector's edition, I thought I would just summarize the extra items included and what I thought of them.

1) The metal lunch box is great, it is a bit smaller than a "real" lunchbox, with the height and with being about the same as a DVD/game case and the depth certainly enough to hold some lunch if you actually wanted to use it for that purpose. The art is nice, some of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. clipart men around the outside and generally an art style that makes it look like just the sort of item you may find in-game.

2) Art Book - it is a little on the small side, I was expecting something a bit larger, but the quality is excellent. Nice thick paper with a glossy finish, and many many images. From concept art on the ... Read More:

This game has been anticipated around the globe for quite some time, when first shown at E3 a few years ago, it immediately became a must have for every Rpg fan and hardcore gamer out there. Firstly its a great game, cinematic, fantastic, and also very funny. Its a game that doesn't take it self to seriously. Set 200 years after the "bombs dropped" in a post nuclear fallout era with a very authentic retro 50's feel, the lucky few have managed to purchase slots in underground vault's. Eventually everyone emerged into the "Capitol Wasteland" after the nuclear devastation is over. AMF Bowling: Pinbuster (Wii)

Well like most of you i bought this game and was so cheesed off. wii sports bowling is the best or is it because my nine year old son played on it once and got 7 strikes in a row, then a spare, then more strikes :(
no i just think its rubbish and regret wasting my money. I think i will rent before buying next time.

Star Trek: Conquest (Wii)

When I bought this game I was expecting like some other reviews I read for it to be an adapted and better version of "birth of the federation" an absolute classic pc game ten years old and I have just finished playing again recently. Star trek conquest unfortunately I doubt I will never play again and will probably trade in even if I just get two pound for it. Like all the star trek games Bethesda have created after requiring the licence of the good star trek brand name they have trashed the game with poor graphics and everything seems rushed and no time has been taken with it to make it the potentially good game it could be. Another poor point about this game is that it is very quick to complete.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition (Xbox 360)

Having not played the game for a while I decided to dust it off at the weekend and give it another go. As soon as it loaded up I remembered why I have spent over 100 hours on it to date (and still not even close to completing it!).

For a game which is now over two and a half years old the graphics are still amazing with stunning sunsets, beautiful night skies and colourful free worlds to roam. I have fallen in love with this game all over again.

It is difficult not to be drawn into the world of Oblivion as everything is realised in such great detail and you get immersed in the storyline from the very beginning.

Anyone who does not already have this game should go out and buy it immediately, as there is nothing that comes even close to matching it. I just ... Read More:
