Be warned, if you play this game too much, you may need treatment for post traumatic stress. It sucks you in and spits you out through game play that is totally involving and realistic. As an ex-soldier well past his youth, this game brings back my Army days very vividly. I loved it! Other reviewers have used expressions like this is about as close to real warfare as you would ever want to get. I fully agree.
COD4 has a very convincing storyline which knits the diverse missions together very well. The other soldiers who are your comrades are sophisticated and convincing with an admirable depth to their characters. (I am sure that Gaz is voiced by jason Statham, but couldn't find his name in the credits.) Everything about this ... Read More:

I think the Sims 2 is a fantastic game, I had it for PC but when I upgraded to my iMac, I decided to buy the MAc version along with various expansion packs. Really is a lot of fun, it's a game for anyone to enjoy!
I did nearly return it however, as everytime I ran the game I got black patches across my screen and couldn't see what was going on, after reading up on it though I found a solution. Right click/Ctrl click the Sims 2 application and press Get Info then in the get info window, tick 'Open using Rosetta'. Problem solved!

After reading several bad reviews for Civ IV i thought i should write my own. So okay, i run the game on my old iMac G5 and i have no problems, sure it's a little slow at times but when you have an old machine you have to expect that. If you have an Intel powered mac you're in a much better position to play this game, but if not like me, tinker with the settings and you should get it to work fine. My machine is by no means blazing fast. The game itself is excellent. Yes, it is a bit easier than Civ III, but played on a harder level it will balance out. There is a bit more to the game than Civ III, a bigger learning curve, but when you come to grips with that you'll appreciate the extra bit of depth to the game. It is an excellent game. Patches have been ... Read More:

I prefer the strategy-builder games like SimCity and Civilisation, and so I get a lot of fun from this version. You basically get to be God (in fact the mayor) and you start building your ideal community. Naturally it takes a bit of skill to find a viable combination of key elements (e.g. housing, industry and commerce) otherwise your community just goes bankrupt and dies away. I tend to enjoy just playing the early periods, and the next time I just start all over again. I love trying out different approaches to positioning housing and commerce together and putting industry in isolated areas, but I think the key is to optimise planning (and in particular commuting time) for the period in which you find yourself, and not to be afraid to change quite radically your ... This game is soooooooo additive, once you start to play the day seems to pass you by at break neck speeds. Runs ok on my Macbook - however i am getting a new Macbook Pro and can not wait to find out how this handles the game. I mostly play the "sand box" part of the game (you have unlimited amounts of money) and can wast about 6hrs building Coaster's etc, etc. Some people say it's hard to get into but i have never had any issues with learning this game. If you like building Coasters and watching your parks grow and grow with "peeps" (Roller Coaster Tycoon talk for people) than this is your game.
