I wanted to upgrade my kid's GBA SP. Really enjoyed the little handheld, but the new DS and the PSP looked like they were offering some pretty impressive options. I spent absolutely ages trawling the web, reviews and homebrew sites.

Ended up buying both a DS and a PSP - second-hand. Then bought a few second-hand games for each.

I really wanted to prefer the DS. At the time, it was easier to use homebrew stuff on it, had a mass of cheap games available, had the touch-screen/2-screen set-up and had some pretty innovative, accessible and fun games. There are a lot of DS games you can just plug in and immediately start to play.

I have an Xbox 360, but all the game titles that come out for it are either cartoon/animated games for really young children, or totally serious games for the serious gamer, because I could hardly find any to play on that I decided to get a portable, so I chose a PSP, definitely worth buying! I already have a DS but find the range of games a bit disappointing, the PSP has plenty of game variety, and for the most part they're not too difficult nor too easy! Is perfect if it's juts good simple fun you're after. The pink is also a nice touch, matches my mp3 player nicely!

This is a great console. Even though it is slightly heavy in weight it is still very easily portable. For me there is not really a bad point for this enjoyable product.

The good points:
Big screen-good for the brilliant graphics the psp provides.
Able to store music, photos and films
Able to watch UMD films
Good controls
Good sound
Good memory which can be made bigger (buying a memory stick is reccommended)
Acces to internet if near an acess point
Downloadable content
Extendable features (Such as:- Mini webcam, microphone, memory card/stick.)

All in all this is a great product and i definetly reccomended it to anyone!!!
