First play for me was aprox 25 hours spread across two weeks of my game-time and the main story is complete. And it was great fun.
Like sci-fi ? Fallout 3 is a great place to take your head.
The speech has improved from Oblivion and is far less Generic .
The combat system worked well for me , and after my character gained a few levels found i could battle in real time !
Now for a replay and just focus on the many varied sub-missions
And also i will try and find Dogmeat this time too.
I had no probs with disc check here so thank you Bethesda for trusting the public who still buy games.

I've been playing EQ2 more or less since its launch and its a great game, but sadly this expansion fall way below the high standards the game has set itself over the years, its very small compared to the last two expansions.
On the plus side all paid for content that SOE released over the years is included in the price and you cant fault that, for the money is a bargain.
So if you're new to the game pick this up and enjoy the delights the game has to offer, its just the latest expansion (the shadow odyssey)itself that fairly poor, but if its new you won't be seeing any of that content for awhile yet anyways.

Fallout is not perfect, what is, but it's definitely in the top three role playing games of all time. Personally I, and many others, would put it in the top slot. What makes it so good is that it can be played in many different ways with many different type of characters. You can decide what kind of role you wish to play, and the game will not force you to solve every problem by killing things regardless. (which the majority of RPG's do) The world is well fleshed out and internally consistent which gives an incredible atmosphere. With many different ways to play and choices to make it's a very replayable game.
It can take a bit of acclimatising to, as it's not just an ego massager like many modern games, so stick with it for a bit because ... Read More:

I just got and installed the game. When I click "new game" I get a "your game has stopped working" error and windows gives me the option to close the program.
Unplayable ... probably all this secuROM 7 stuff everyone else is on about.

Despite this game now being old, every PC owner should play this game pure and simple.
Created by well-known Games designer Peter Molyneux, head of Lionhead studios, famous for other innovative titles such as Black and White, or The movies.
Now for those of you that don't know, Molyneux said some pretty drastic things during press conferences. He claimed plants would be growing I real time that there would be rival NPCS to name a few, the games sales suffered greatly due to this. But of course, on the old Xbox his was just a dram, an unrealistic goal. Fable for the PC is a port, from the console, so obviously it going to have the same flaws.
The graphics are stunning, I'm going to say that right away, I had to buy a new ... Read More:

Amazon needs to stamp down on this sort of overinflated rip off.
In the mean time, I'd advise anyone looking at purchasing this item to call around high street suppliers and check their stocks, Collectors Edition, where available, is still selling for around £40-£50.

I found Mass Effect to be an excellent game, and it is one of the rare few that actually makes my completion list (BioWare now being the only company to have two completely separate games on that list), due to sheer enthralling storytelling.
The characters are interesting, the gameplay fun, the story well told, and all in all it's one of the best games I've ever played.
As a side note, a lot of reviews, both on Mass Effect and other EA releases have been whining incessantly about the DRM, but since it can be removed without stopping the game from running, I really don't see what all the fuss is about. Get rid of it and play the game anyway if you want to, or stop complaining about something you weren't going to play anyway.

I bought this game the other week. Fortunately i waited for the September release and consequently had none of the logging in nightmare others seem to have had. I should point out that i'm only level 12 so i probably haven't seen all the game has to offer, still i cant help feeling slightly dissapointed. The quest system is easy enough to use although half the time i dont bother reading them. The dead mob counter next to the map is enough to tell me i am doing the Emporer's will. Because of this lack of emotional investment i find myself totally apathetic the hundreds of dead villagers littering the landscape. As a consequence i feel like i'm just grinding xp and, for some reason, i'm sad theres no downtime (at least meditating in EQ forced me to interact!) Everything feels a bit ... Read More:
