So far this game has been great fun. We have played it mainly on duet mode. The song selection is great and you can choose either the short or normal length version. The short versions seem to be a bit too short but could be good if you have a queue of people waiting to play. The ratings are good especially if you achieve lead singer status! The great thing about this game is that young and old can enjoy singing together and because the older generation have a slight advantage with the lyrics! All in all good fun.

As always,Fifa 09 is very enjoyable.I was also pleased to see that EA SPORTS waited for the end of the Summer Transfer Window.The reason why I have marked this game down is because there are so many skills and features that they include on PS3 and Xbox 360.The first thing is you can't have control over the players goal celebration.I would really enjoy controlling my players delight.The second thing is that there are quite a few new skills that you can do for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and I would love to be able to trick defenders.Actually,there aren't any(apart from casual controls that I can't see the point in)new skills for the PS2 version.But overall I think that it is a fun game.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame (PS2)

After huge success with the Star wars games & Indiana Jones the whole Lego platform franchise turns it's attention to Batman.
The 3 previous Lego games were all excellent & great fun and Batman does not let the side down. The game is based on the sixties Adam West & Burt Ward batman & Robin pairing instead of the modern films. This makes perfect sense as it means the violence is daft & not graphic & there are a whole raft of potty villains to be used. As always the humour is gentle & keeps proceedings light & easy going. The 2 main characters have been given some abilities that mark them out nicely from previous Lego games. The price pretty much sums it up. This is a fairly solid incarnation of the series bearing in mind most of Konami's efforts are going into the Next-Gen versions.

The 'Become a Legend' mode is a nice idea but (as anyone who's played as 'fixed' on the old PESs while the comp controls the rest of the team)has very slow gameplay and frustrating as the AI doesn't learn how you like to play and often does irritating things like giving the ball away cheaply from a pass and wandering into opposition players with the ball at their feet.

Ultimately though if you want a footy game for when the boys (or girls) come round and don't want to/can't fork out for an Xbox 360 or PS3 then this is more than adequate and capable of filling hours with multiplayer ... Read More:

In my opinion, this is a BIG improvement over last years game.

The controls are less complicated (with really only Fists of Fury remaining as standard and the rest of the attributes virtually optional)and excellent graphics.

However, in my opinion, the UK has got the short end of the stick, as it seems our copies have been duplicated from a pre-finished version. I say that because of certain glaring faults which would've been picked up by any tester worth his salt such as-

If Hornswoggle is used as a manager, if you try to pick up the Shilleighly he throws in, your wrestler will freeze and you will have to re-start the match with NO Shilleighlies.

After looking forward to this game since it was mentioned to be released, i brought it as soon as i could, only to be disappointed once i had looked at the songs. It's missing many of the good disney songs, with numerous songs picked being tricky to sing along to and could have been replaced with much better songs! Also in the duets, such as in circle of life, one player is given the monotonous task of singing a single line over and over while the other player gets to sing the whole of the main part! Apart from the odd good disney song, this game has been quite a disappointment. I would suggest spending the money on a more worthwhile singstar game and sing along to a disney cd instead!

I admit I only played it for an hour, but I soon realised that it's not what I'd been lead to believe it is. It looks good, the graphics, even on the old PS2, being really good and clear, and the controls are responsive and good, but I just didn't take to it. One thing I didn't like is that you have to do the whole level before it autosaves, as it does in this game (you can't save manually at all so can't just put it on for a quick ten minutes to kill a bit of time). I was really looking forward to playing this and after an hour was a bit disappointed. I think it is the ideal way to introduce younger children to action and role playing games though.

Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2
Spyro: A Hero's Tail

Try and grab that lot if you want this console. And at such as a cheap price, missing out is unforgivable.

Finally it arrives, after a long wait. The first think I thought about when I got this game today is why didn't we have the previous edition on PS2?
Anyways, the game is excellent, it is set in WWII, so it will be a very familiar territory for who ever had the chance to play titles like Medal of Honor, Sniper Elite (environmentally speaking, not game-play), and the previous Call of Duty Titles. Graphically speaking, it looks so good, nothing jaw-dropping though, and it shows how the PS2 is becoming old nowadays. You can hardly notice any difference from other FPS titles in this sense. However, the best thing is gameplay, wow, you start very very easy, in a small tutorial, showing you how to control, move, throw grenades, etc, then hell opens, and it is non-stop action.
