This game is a total waste of money. As said in other reviews.. Bad graphics, slow load times, and no Mii support. with only six games and no career path of note it's hardly a game of depth.
give this game a wide birth!!

It's a refreshing change when a game comes along on the Wii that feels like it has the Nintendo quality without the badge. De Blob is one of those rare games that shines on the console without resorting to gimmicks.

The premise is simple. Your world has lost all its colour due to an invasion by INKT, an evil dictatorship that wants to control the land and stamp out all colour. The people of the world have been imprisoned and only you and a few puddles of colour can make a difference.

In my opinion, this is a BIG improvement over last years game.

The controls are less complicated (with really only Fists of Fury remaining as standard and the rest of the attributes virtually optional)and excellent graphics.

However, in my opinion, the UK has got the short end of the stick, as it seems our copies have been duplicated from a pre-finished version. I say that because of certain glaring faults which would've been picked up by any tester worth his salt such as-

If Hornswoggle is used as a manager, if you try to pick up the Shilleighly he throws in, your wrestler will freeze and you will have to re-start the match with NO Shilleighlies.

If you, like me, felt let down by the over hyped, drastically under-delivering GTA IV then I seriously recommend this to you as a similar themed but much more fun game to get your teeth into.

Right from the start I knew that I was in for a good ride, the first mission is fun and cool, without being too hard or tricky. You also get a good feel for the game during the first mission, unlike GTA IV where your just driving a car around in the dark (what fun!)

From here on in you shouldn't be getting bored or stuck for things to do. Theres alot to buy with the money you earn and a whole world of side missions and escapades to be getting stuck into. It pains me to give a Raw vs Smackdown game a bad review but I have to because I was lied to.

All the reviews, previews and adverts tell you is it's all about the tag teams, tag tag tag that's all you hear, so I thought, fantastic a tag story mode.

Yeh there's a tag story mode, for Batista and Rey...... that's it.

If you don't want to go Rey and Batista, tough luck, they are the only ones you can go for co-op story mode.

Basically the same as the other games with a few small changes I'd have waited until the price dropped before buying it if I knew all this tag hype was a load of rubbish

It pains me to give a Raw vs Smackdown game a bad review but I have to because I was lied to.

Wall E is such a fantastic movie that we expected the game to be just as cute, just as fun. Steering the little guy from start to finish of each level, working his way round simple obstacles and moving walkways from a 3D overhead viewpoint was fun - for a short while.
Our 5 yr old found it quick to understand and completed the first couple of levels within ten minutes. It was nice to find a game that was not heavily centered around reading a lot of initial text too. As each level got a little harder but was essentially the same type of game play, her frustration grew and her interest wandered off. I must admit the game is quite similar to last years version however thq have made a lot of improvements such as the graphics, the roster and matches. Online is the same as last year poor connections (signals) so when you go into a match, the connection will stutter a lot. Road to wrestlemania is good and interesting, career mode is a bit boring because you easily win and finally the tag teams are very good, the tag teams have been a much needed improvement from previous games.

Overall i believe the game is enjoyable and can get boring after a while, if you are a true wwe fan like myself then you should buy this game

Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise (Nintendo DS)

I have never played this game on any other console so can't compare but I was pretty impressed by this game.

You start off with a very small patch of garden and 1 wormlike pinata that you then breed. More pinatas will enter your garden when you have reached their various conditions. i.e some will only come if you have a certain amount of grass in your garden or a certain number of worms, so it's all a balancing act. You tempt in new pinatas, sometime by sacrificing your current pinatas as food for the new ones.
