Whilst I agree with some of the reviews here. I do think there is a lot of hype for this game when most people have only played the demo.
Yes this game is well made and great fun to play (for a while). The first few times of playing I really was on the edge of my seat, waiting for the next hoard of zombies to attack me. I have not seen this type of close co-op before in a game and it is very refreshing. The 4 main characters have there own personalities and add a nice touch to the game, also they have a very good AI system.
So all good then?....Well not quite
I just felt the whole game to be too repetitive. You go from one scene to another blasting your way through exactly the same hoard of zombies that you did in ... Read More:

Genius. Take a shed load of zombies (and then some) mix in some half life and a large helping of gauntlet and you have left 4 dead.
The graphics are solid but not on par with the likes of gears of war but the lighting is excellently done. Multiplayer is at the heart of the game and while solo play gives you 3 computer controlled allies the real fun is multi player. The bots are a bit more useful than many human controlled players will be but when more players cotton on to the fact that going it solo will end in a painful death, the co operative made will actually end up being more co operative. Best enjoyed in games with your online buddies so you can rib each other over the stupid things you do.

You don't need anything more than that in this review.
You 'll play it, you'll like it, you won't regret buy it, but my friend, when you are wondering what is it, that it lucks, this "je ne sais pas", let me open your eyes, lonely friend, sitting in front of your giant HDTV.
IT IS NOT A CULT GAME. It's mainstream this one. After 5 years the world is not the shame. And save some mormon/evangelist or the Mothers United, no one else is shocked or even at the least moved by what the GTA is putting out there.
And it's not just the frame that has changed.
The Soundtrack is not CULT.
Your character is NOT as CULT as it could be, given the Serbian nature.
You don't get all the picko, and the pusi kurac you'd want from ... Read More:
In response to some of the other reviewers I find the driving more of a challenge as I dislike the more arcade-style driving games. I find the shooting cover system works really well and I haven't come across any faults, even though I bought the game the day it came out.
I have given the game 5 stars overall because of the pure beauty of Liberty City. Sure, it may not have the best graphics, but the scenes are magnificent. Only four stars for fun as the off-line play does get boring after a while, but the online play can be mental.
Hope the next game comes out soon, and that it does inherit a mix of IV's beauty and San Andreas's huge map and absolute craziness. A Mercs 2 style "blow everything up" game engine would also be really cool. ... Read More:

(I brought this game from the US before English release)
Coming from a person who has played Halo 2/3 many a time at mates houses and who really doesn't believe it deserves the praise it gets "A True Halo Beater" could seem a little bias. The reason why I bring this up then is because the first game R:FOM was dubbed as PS3's answer to Halo. But even though I don't think Halo is all that I really didn't think R:FOM was close to Halo. However it was clear that R:FOM had potential, and with the second one the makers really have created something that is better bolder and bigger. (And I really do mean BIGGER!)
The first two levels are breath taking. When you first come out to see the chimera ships covering San Francisco you'll be amazed at the level of detail and the real illusion ... Read More:

When I first started this game, I was amazed by the graphics and the combat style. VAT's is just great fun, especially when you get a few levels higher and have skills to blow people in to shreds. Okay, a bit gruesome, but still it's part of the game.
The main quest line is slightly short, but you can easily crank out 30-40 hours playing this game, which for me is a decent amount. The problem with these 30-40 hours is that quite a lot of it you will be wondering around a huge map, trying to work out how to get past rubble. Once you get all the way points on your map, its a lot more fun because there is less walking involved.
Some of the quests can be slightly confusing, with not much explaining of what your supposed to do, so exploring is in order and a bit of patience ... Read More:
First play for me was aprox 25 hours spread across two weeks of my game-time and the main story is complete. And it was great fun.
Like sci-fi ? Fallout 3 is a great place to take your head.
The speech has improved from Oblivion and is far less Generic .
The combat system worked well for me , and after my character gained a few levels found i could battle in real time !
Now for a replay and just focus on the many varied sub-missions
And also i will try and find Dogmeat this time too.
I had no probs with disc check here so thank you Bethesda for trusting the public who still buy games.

Im now on my 3rd playthrough on the xbox 360 however its not because it is an entertaining game im just trying to get all the xbox 360 gamerscore from its single player.
Single Player
This game as you may have heard is very slow playing which is true but can be slightly helped by using the bus stations located around the map. However the main story line is stupid written and very repetative and doesnt really allow for much replayability. I also heard that the story was open ended and I beleived this to mean once you had finished you could continue playing on the same character which you cant. The A.I is also very repetative as they respawn virtually after they are out of eyesight. There are also quite a few bugs to do with enemys shooting in a different direction but still hitting you, ... Read More:

Bioshock is one of the best games I've played on the PS3, and certainly one of the best first person shooters. It's also one of the few games that I'd consider playing again from start to finish.
One of the game's highlights is its original and fascinating setting. The story takes place in the year 1960, in an underwater city called Rapture. The city was built by Andrew Ryan as a utopia for like-minded individuals with an unwavering belief in free enterprise and laissez faire capitalism. Yet the city they have built for themselves has fallen apart. It is here that Jack (the character you play) enters the scene.
Jack's plane crashes in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and he finds himself at the very gates of Rapture. Taking a bathysphere to the city, he finds himself stuck in a society filled ... Read More:

The first guy reviewing this game pretty much covered all the bases. Likewise i bought fable 2 the same day and it hasnt got a look in since (nor has gears of war 2 for that matter). If you are a fan of the horror/shooter genre this could probably be the best game you have ever played. One minor gripe that some reviewers have over the game is the repetitiveness and similar levels however they miss the point of the game!! Its the claustraphobic, tense atmosphere of being in a mining craft in the middle of space that builds up the tension to unbearable levels and is what will make you jump/scream on numerous occasions!!! Play this with the lights off and surround sound up to the max for a truly awesome gaming experience!!!
