This is the first Fifa that I have played for about four years now as I have been a Pro Evolution fan during this time. I didn't buy any last year but heard that PES 2008 was disappointing so thought it was time to give Fifa another chance. After playing Fifa 09 both online and against the computer, I can see why I have avoided Fifa all this time.
Yes there are improvements from a few years ago but it still has that Fifa feel to it.....the feeling that you're just playing some video game that could go either way and the feeling that it is too easy to score from the same place each time. I have seen the keeper beaten too many times at the near post for my liking. In real life, this would be a big talking point for the keeper. On ... Read More:

Every game that EA has helped with turns out to be really bad, take a look at Battlefield 2, Mercs 2, Rock Band etc all of them are poorly designed. Stick with Activision, Rockstar/North and others.

My husband bought this for my birthday, I'm 36 and a bit on the chunky side. I love it, I noticed a difference in myself after only a week of using it. The instructor is encouraging and it makes you feel good to beat your own record. The balance games are really fun and I love the yoga. I have a joint condition and the vast majority of exercises are easy on my joints, although at first on a couple of the muscle exercises my knees got a twinge, I found I could still achieve the goal without bending so deeply, which causes me pain. Now I rarely have a problem. The aerobic exercises are fun and work up quite a sweat without being harsh on your joints. Perfect for people who want to exercise but cannot for medical reasons join a gym or go for a real jog. ... Read More:

This was the first game me and my sister bought (we went halfers on it) and i have to say we were excited abut it. First, let me say, in my opinion, is good about it...
1) The variety of puzzles: I liked how many different puzzles were in here, especially the maths puzzles (i ot down to 15 seconds for 30 and 45 for 100) and did see a big improvement on my maths. The clock challenge makes you think, but my personal favourite is sudoku. Before, i couldn't get into it, now i love it and i look forward playing to it.
2) The tests: the tests you take beofre you start and during your progress, although you have to enter it manually, and think that it would have been better if test were done in timed intervals.

Although there are games where you don't require the Nunchuck it is always handy to have one or your gameplay will be limited. Easy to add on to your controller and allows you to play a whole range of games.

This game is absolutely brilliant and I would recommend it to anyone. By far the best Wii game that I have played. Don't understand all the fuss about the putting - it seems fine to me. Some of the earlier negative comments nearly put me off buying this game, but so glad that they didn't.

I had high expectations of the game, having heard from a number of reviews that it would overtake PES this year (in fact, I think it did that with FIFA 08). I booted it up and played a few games to get used to the new features. It plays great, is much more realistic, and was looking good. So I thought I would get online and see if anyone else was on it already. No online play is a joke. I might play against friends occasionally, but it is all about the online play for me so I'll have to go back to FIFA 08. EA are fools!

Lots of people gave lots of review about this when it is not even out, same as demo.
But i am very happy as i have had FM 2007 and 2008, i admit there were bugs but isnt there for lots of other games?
So updates for the game is very useful and it is easily accessible.
So give it a try yourself as people's view are different than your's. I promise you that there will be an challenge, a bright challenege, a darkest challenge, perhap you will be sacked, perhaps you will become a legend.

This game is vastly improved compared to 08.
The controls are ripped from Pro Evo, but simplified and they work well.
The Mii mini games and 8 Vs 8 matches are class.
All in all its a great game.
Take it online and it's a poor job. The matches work fine, the servers are great, it's just that there's no Mii matches and no "point and click" passing, ie, all the things they've added are missing online.
It's plain lazy and prevents this great game from achieving a great score!

Unfortunately it is impossible to give this a zero rating therefore it receives a one star rating. This is not for the quality of the machine but for the following:
It was originally advertised as being backwardly compatible but Sony have changed the PS3 so it is no longer compatible with PS2 games. Well done Sony.
Amazon please change your product description to clearly point out that PS3 in not compatible with PS2 games.
Maybe advertising standards should be made aware of this deception by Sony
