I really don't agree with all the critism towards this game. Their have been vast improvements not to mention the inredible amount of realistic stadiums and for a lower league supporter (Urrrrrrz) i was delighted with the graphic levels of the lower teams. All that about "their is a set way to score" is rubbish. It will only be that way if you play that way also to say the celebrations are poor is stupid their are loads of realistic celebrations. Overall i think is a great game.

Genius. Take a shed load of zombies (and then some) mix in some half life and a large helping of gauntlet and you have left 4 dead.
The graphics are solid but not on par with the likes of gears of war but the lighting is excellently done. Multiplayer is at the heart of the game and while solo play gives you 3 computer controlled allies the real fun is multi player. The bots are a bit more useful than many human controlled players will be but when more players cotton on to the fact that going it solo will end in a painful death, the co operative made will actually end up being more co operative. Best enjoyed in games with your online buddies so you can rib each other over the stupid things you do.

This was my first venture into the EXCITING WORLD of Tiger Woods PGA extravaganza and lets just say my friends, it is not the last. What particuarly interested me about this game is the well structured multiplayer. While it is certainly no Mario Party, it breathes a degree of finesse. Unfortuantly a few errors where present, such as the infamous No Face glitch, and the graphics are not perfect, but gameplay wise it was relitively entertaining. I just can't wait till next years golf season

The first guy reviewing this game pretty much covered all the bases. Likewise i bought fable 2 the same day and it hasnt got a look in since (nor has gears of war 2 for that matter). If you are a fan of the horror/shooter genre this could probably be the best game you have ever played. One minor gripe that some reviewers have over the game is the repetitiveness and similar levels however they miss the point of the game!! Its the claustraphobic, tense atmosphere of being in a mining craft in the middle of space that builds up the tension to unbearable levels and is what will make you jump/scream on numerous occasions!!! Play this with the lights off and surround sound up to the max for a truly awesome gaming experience!!!

To be honest NFS: Undercover is not entirely bad. As a racing game for car euthusiasts it is going to hit the spot - No matter how bad a game is, how can you not forgive it when you can purchase and tune an Escort RS Cosworth amongst other vehicles?
The game itself is relatively similar to Most Wanted & Carbon, but has gained elements from the Burnout series. You rack up points by implementing certain driving techniques such as drifts, burnouts and j-turns, as well as points for near misses and damage costs to destructable objects. The handling of cars are very 'arcade' - If you want realism, buy Forza Motorsport 2! In the early stages of the game at least, cars seem to grip a little too well and if you've played such games before you'll probably find the AI pretty ... Read More:

So nice to not have to shoot everything for once.
This game has been slightly over hyped so to bring it back to earth...
Cut scenes awful even if they are a cover for loading. When you briefly get guns the aiming is twitchy. Its not open/sandbox as it might have been portrayed. Paths are linear with only a few local options for different routes. Never really get a chance to get a long fast run. Combat and disarming are weak. Push the button objectives, loading elevators, crawling in ducts are all a bit old school. You will fall off buildings and die hundreds of times...
...actually dying is fine as plenty of well placed checkpoints and reload is quick and you get to have another crack at that impossible looking run and jump, core game play mechanics are so ... Read More:

Just buy this game, ok? Half Life 2, both Episodes, and Portal are all amazing. Team Fortress 2, I haven't really touched, as I'm not interested in it very much, so can't comment on that. The rest of the package is well worth it though, and at the moment, it's selling brand new for under £20.
If you buy this because of my review, you will thank me very much. I don't recommend rubbish games.

Mercs 1 has to be one of my all time favourite games, so obviously i thought mercs 2 would be the same...i was wrong :(
dont get me wrong, some aspects of the game are great, and at times i really really enjoyed it.
but all the bugs/glitches just ruined it for me, and i found the storyline rather tedious.
people mention all the explosions, which do look very nice, only problem i found was that i blew a building up, walked around a bit, came back, and as if by magic the building had returned to its former glory! what a waste of money/oil for nothing!
some glitches dont bother me at all, like people just suddenly dropping dead, the helicopters that aimlessly spin in circles, and the cars that decide they have had enough, and flip over and explode!

the graphics are amazing the crashes are insane and the racing is ridiculously fast and furious, a brilliant game only one player racing but the lack of tracks and freedom to race through the city and takedown other cars makes gameplay gripping, the cars look amazing and the soundtracks great, best racing game ever played
