The best part of the Wii Fit? Since getting it six weeks ago, I have lost 6 pounds!!! I've been doing it 5-6 times a week for about an hour (once a day) and giving myself one night off where I can just relax (and let my body rest).

I got this for my birthday on the 28th of August and I was so happy I hugged my mum, hugged my dad and hugged my mum again. I've been trying to lose weight for over a year now and I've lost a few pounds here and there, but I've always put it back on, because, doing excercise is so borrrrrrring, and, because I don't have a car I can't really go to a gym every night after work (as I do shifts it really isn't practical anyway).

I've never been into consoles but at 28 i decided i wanted to try.

And i am hooked, its such a compulsive gadget that you just have to keep picking up and playing with, superb graphics and the range of games suits all tastes.

Saw the reviews on here about delivery and was shocked that someone like Amazon cannot deliver on the release date.
Just popped into my local Zavvi (what was Virgin) to enquire and was turned away. Then i tried HMV and as it happens they're still taking pre-orders. I ordered on the spot and was also told that, like a lot of stores, they will be open at midnight in order for people to collect.

Thank you to those who put the reviews about Amazons delivery, and my advice to others would be to try HMV.

I buy Fifa every year to see if it has improved before I trade it in for Pro Evolution which is always released later. Fifa 09 is probably the best yet and I was entertained for a couple of days but the gameplay is so repetative, the players all move the same, you score the same boring goals all the time. I can see what EA Sports are trying to do but they can't seem to match the gameplay of PES, although I will admit PES2008 on PS3 was a joke but even then it was still better than any Fifa ever released. Its simple for me, if you like prawn sarny's go and buy Fifa if you actually know anything about football you will know PES is still number one, its far more realistic. EASY REALLY.

For little more than the price of a controller, you get this beginers game to get you going. Quite entertaining and very easy to use

It talks you through step by step how to use the remote with different games, practicing skills that will come in useful on other games.

It should entertain the kids for a while

This was the first game me and my sister bought (we went halfers on it) and i have to say we were excited abut it. First, let me say, in my opinion, is good about it...
1) The variety of puzzles: I liked how many different puzzles were in here, especially the maths puzzles (i ot down to 15 seconds for 30 and 45 for 100) and did see a big improvement on my maths. The clock challenge makes you think, but my personal favourite is sudoku. Before, i couldn't get into it, now i love it and i look forward playing to it.
2) The tests: the tests you take beofre you start and during your progress, although you have to enter it manually, and think that it would have been better if test were done in timed intervals.

When i heard that fifa 09 was coming out i was so excited but then when i thought about it i wasn't so sure wheteher it could even get better than the amazingly high standard it set last year would the graphics get any better what could change about it so many questions going on in my mind but i opted to buy i and in the end it turned out to be a great decision.

When i started playing it i got a feeing of sheer joy that the game play and graphics (even though i thought it was impossible) had highly improved

But the bit i love about it is that when you score a goal there are certain buttons you cn press to do your own celebration, the best i have done is a cart wheel, im looking to score with Nani to see if i can do a flip!

After pre-ordering this game on the strength of the E3 demo found on YouTube, I was more than a little worried to hear about the issues this game has. I thought I'd give it a go regardless, and frankly I'm very disappointed.
First off, the game is ridiculously short. I reached the space stage in a night. The tidepool phase is like a freeware game off a phone, the creature phase is just about redeemable, tribal and civilisation phases are the most simplistic RTSes ever created (one unit of each type without even working to research better weapons? Are you kidding me?), and the space stage makes you the general dogsbody for other alien races instead of giving you the power to create worlds and speces as you see fit.
