After huge success with the Star wars games & Indiana Jones the whole Lego platform franchise turns it's attention to Batman.
The 3 previous Lego games were all excellent & great fun and Batman does not let the side down. The game is based on the sixties Adam West & Burt Ward batman & Robin pairing instead of the modern films. This makes perfect sense as it means the violence is daft & not graphic & there are a whole raft of potty villains to be used. As always the humour is gentle & keeps proceedings light & easy going. I admit I only played it for an hour, but I soon realised that it's not what I'd been lead to believe it is. It looks good, the graphics, even on the old PS2, being really good and clear, and the controls are responsive and good, but I just didn't take to it. One thing I didn't like is that you have to do the whole level before it autosaves, as it does in this game (you can't save manually at all so can't just put it on for a quick ten minutes to kill a bit of time). I was really looking forward to playing this and after an hour was a bit disappointed. I think it is the ideal way to introduce younger children to action and role playing games though.

Finally it arrives, after a long wait. The first think I thought about when I got this game today is why didn't we have the previous edition on PS2?
Anyways, the game is excellent, it is set in WWII, so it will be a very familiar territory for who ever had the chance to play titles like Medal of Honor, Sniper Elite (environmentally speaking, not game-play), and the previous Call of Duty Titles. Graphically speaking, it looks so good, nothing jaw-dropping though, and it shows how the PS2 is becoming old nowadays. You can hardly notice any difference from other FPS titles in this sense. I am a huge bond fan and a keen FPS fan so hoped this game would be right up my alley. In reality its just about ok. Graphics nice but game is short, repetitive, very little interaction other than shooting. Completed it in an evening and i'm not a particularly skilled gamer. Get it if your a huge Bond fan otherwise i wouldn't bother.

I am a huge bond fan and a keen FPS fan so hoped this game would be right up my alley. In reality its just about ok. Graphics nice but game is short, repetitive, very little interaction other than shooting. Completed it in an evening and i'm not a particularly skilled gamer. This isn't one of those huge sprawling games you will still be absorbed by one year from now. It lacks depth, complexity and game length. But it IS good solid fun and although short it feels polished and not rushed. It doesn't get ridiculously difficult towards the end (I'm looking at you scooby-doo!) and was at just the right level to keep my six year old going for a few weeks. There probably isn't a huge amount of replay value, you only get five of the Ben 10 aliens and essentially it's just a beat-em-up but it does have what a lot of games these days seem to think is beneath them - fun!

there are many reasons why i think this game is the greatest in the rockstar games series.
-there are various locations to visit.
-you can steal cars from people.
-you can build up your own gang
-there are awesome cheats to make the game more challenging and fun.
rockstar games is also one of the best game making series in the history.you play the game as cj as you uncover the mystery behind the death of cjs mom.
