In manager mode i have to admit that Fifa 09 is second to none at the moment, however the downfall(which you wouldn't know from playing the demo version) is the online game play.

I loved Fifa 08 for the online gaming and was really looking forward to playing 09 online. Unfortunately I have spent the last 2 hours trying to play an online game. Same thing every time. You invite or get invited, you accept, then nothing happens, and the game becomes "no longer available" i was trying with one guy to get a match going for over half an hour. The EA Servers for 09 are woeful and at present i am thinking i just wasted my money! stick with Fifa 08. 09 isn't worth the money!

I can't add much to all the previous reviews, its a majorly underachieving game that had such a license to be great, but terribly linear play and formulaic levels have crippled it. (Like so many SW games before). The bottom line is still, if you want to play a good fun Star Wars game, Lego Star Wars-The Complete Saga is still the best option.....who would have believed it!

I've played Fifa '09 and it feels like playing football with sponges strapped to your boots. Pro Evo ain't out yet, but the box art looks great and I'd rather look at a box than run round with sponges on my feet.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 (PS3)

Ok this is going to sound harsh but it needs to be said.
This years tiger is a step too far.
After changing developers after the pretty good 07 version this game has become a glitch laden,bug ridden programme.
Last years game was really awful,as the new team seemed to be adding their touches to the game engine.
However instead of building on the good framework of the 07 version they have turned this into a mess.
This is the team responsible for the dire outlaw golf series and its obvious they haven't learned a great deal since those games.
So without being too critical these are the good and bad points about this years game.
Good points are......
Wentworth course.
Some nice clothes to dress your golfer in.

I'm so glad i bought this. Got hold of it this morning, plugged in the cables put in the disc and decided to go and make myslef a drink to get away from the god-awful cheesy video they put you through. Found the channels perfectly - 88 in total. Picture quality is excellent, the recording is amazing and overall I am very very impressed with it.

It just shows that you can't depend on reviews when choosing games.

I was disappointed with this game and have now traded it in after about three hours of game play. I couldn't be bothered to play any more.

I felt the general game play was nothing special. I couldn't get a hang of the driving and found myself having to restart some of the missions over and over again until I just got frustrated. Also, it is frustrating having to go back to all the same location again and again to do a mission that involved chasing someone round in a car. Not very interesting really.

On the other hand, I admit that the general presentation of the game was second to only Mass Effect. And I admit Nico was quite a likeable character.

I have been playing on the beta for about 3 days now and this game is just brilliant and its only a beta, when the full game it out there will be even more to play with in the creator plus all the 50+ levels for the main game.5 star cant wait for 24th oct.

Well, where to begin?

Firstly the reliability. I had huge problems when trying to load the non-existent disk into my ps3. And that was only the start. I then spent 2 whole hours staring at a blank TV and i can honestly say that the gameplay REALLY SUCKED. None of the black and white dots seemed to respond to my button presses and there was no clear aim to the proceedings.

At one point i swear i could make out the rough outline of one of the characters from the Night Garden - hardly realistic in a war game!

Rubbish! Just hang on to your hard earned coppers and wait for COD5, the fishing game out this december.

Excellent Game, I wasn't sure about it at first but i was very surprised when i played, graphics are average but the gameplay is great which can be a bit difficult at times but makes it more of a challange and the storyline is excellent. You really need to have some knowledge of the previous Brother In Arms games to know whats going on at first, but if not you will still get into it. I hope this review was helpful.
