I found that the voice recognition worked well but had problams with it reconising my hand writing.

Maths isn't my stong point so i did loose interest in the training. Prefer the sight trainer.

My daughter Chloe says "I would recommend this DS to anyone thinking of buying one. I have had mine for about 1 year now and have had loads of fun with it. There are educational games available for it too. I have lots of games that i like to play. I play on it all the time. "

I waited for 5 days after I got this game before I wrote my review so I was sure of all its components before I wrote the review. I don't want to dwell to much on negative points as other reviewers have mentioned the same but you may only read one review and its important. Firstly only one person can use this game as it can only store data for one person. Secondly its not developed for the UK market too many American terms , especially irritating when you are doing the quizzes and listing your food. Now for the positive, as a foot note I am totally into any gadgets to do with exercise, I have worn a pedometer for years, have a heart rate monitor and have also recently purchased a wii fit. Now I've been playing Mario Kart since it started way back on the SNES!
I have all versions of this Mario Kart over numerous Nintendo Consoles!
This game is definitely be the top my favourite Mario Kart games in the series! I have also purchased Mario Kart Wii which is also a brilliant game. The DS version was really the beta for on-line racing on Nintendo console. However compared to the Wii offering of on-line options Mario Kart DS is very limited, however this is to be expected as this was the first on-line DS game! The DS version has excellent controls and memorable tracks (I love Rainbow Road!).

This was the first game I bought for my DS, after seeing the ads and half-believing the hype. It explained how to use the game clearly, without talking down to you and making you feel like a small child. I must point out that it is only suitable for 20+ year old, despite the classification on the front. This is because it helps to train faculties that only start to decline at 20. It was engaging, had a good variety of tasks, and was different enough each day that I wanted to use it each day. If you're thinking that it sounds too good to be true, I do have one criticism. My mum got this game and I had a bit of a play on it. I have to say I will be getting myself a copy very soon. It's addicitve, entertaining and for a DS game has good graphics. The music is nice to listen to as well. A well deserved five stars.

I'm a great fan of Scrabble and am enjoying this version; however I do agree that having to play the mini games to add more characters is irritating and some of the words are so strange that I've wondered if my DS has gone wrong!

Great fun, just as good as the wii version, if you have a ds and not this game then you are missing out.
