We chose this book for our week-long holiday in Rome a few years ago because it said on the front "What to see and do if you can't stay long". Right from the beginning we found it both interesting and helpful. We used the "Lodging" chapter to choose our hotel and because it was divided into geographical areas we were able to choose one within walking distance of the station. The price indicators for Lodging and Dining are very useful (and accurate) too, particularly if like us you are on a tight budget and still want to enjoy your stay. When we arrived in Rome we were glad to have the "Essential Information" chapter to help with which train to catch from the airport, and how to buy a travel ticket for the whole week.
