Brio is great although some more imagination could be used for the child who wants to build a decentloco shed or station.
The key to all railway systems is points and they are too expensive and there are not enough alternative points.

Although the puzzle itself is interesting the quality of construction and finish on this wooden version leaves an awful lot to be desired. Rough edges and splinters of wood were found on nearly all the pieces.

The one other issue is of storage - once you start the puzzle (i.e. take it out of the box) it's not practical to store because you have to solve the puzzle to be able to put in back in the box!

Wooden Thomas & Friends: Water Tower

After inital excitement the novalty soon wears off as it has limited function ie nozzle moves up and down. Although it is a nice looking piece when added to other Thomas items around the track it is rather expesive for what it is but we all come to expect to pay that little extra for named products.

The toy is well built and is strong enough to stand my three year olds rough play.

Has limited educational value and payability.
