This is an excellent toy, my 1 year old daughter hasn't put it down since she had it on Christmas Day. I would recommend it as it is great value for money and has a lot of functions suitable for baby. It's also a great substitute for her stealing my mobile phone, she thinks she has her own now!!! :o)

my son got this book off his grandparents for christmas and at first found it lots off fun as he could read it his self, but 3 mth on he has grown bored of it because i can't seem to find the books for it although toy master say it does get in books for this but only a limited amount that go very quickly so if you get one your lucky i am now considering buying him the leapad version

Someone bought this for my daughter 2 years ago (she was nearly 3) and it is the best present she's ever been given. It has never ceased to entertain her. She has had hours of amusement, it's great for car journeys and when we've needed her to entertain herself or keep quiet. The batteries lasted for ages and she's needed little supervision, and has worked most of it out for herself. She's nearly 5 now and we're planning on getting her the Vtech Advance for 5-8 year olds as she's enjoyed playing with this one so much. Never have I seen one toy entertain a child for so long. Excellent value for money... I highly recommend.
