My daughter has had this for a year (shes now 6) and gets great value from it. It starts up immediately, has great feedback sounds and verbal encouragement, all the games quick and snappy and are based on literacy, numeracy and mouse skills so she can progress to the harder ones as she learns more at school. To her, its fun fun fun - but she is actually learning word recognition and lots more, there is even a section in French. Best money I every spent on a toy and saves me having to fire up and monitor her use of the real PC.

I do a lot of commuting between my home and my mum's home on the motorway. It's just over a ten minute drive and this toy is perfect for that and much more. It's fairly small, light and transportable. I've been using it since my son was tiny and it's my favourite toy by far and definitely the one I have got the most use out of. I have two! One in the home and one in the car.

During the day, at home or in the car, my little one likes to bang on the big light up button and see the colours change and hear the songs change in the "music time" and "play time" modes. Very durable toy. My daughter has banged and thrown it across the room but it continues to work well. Buttons large and easy to push. Makes vehicle noises and lots of music.
It is very loud and does not have any volume control. I think my daughter becomes annoyed with it after about 10 minutes and flings it away. Also the toy vehicles on the ring are made of hard plastic and uncomfortable to bite on.
Overall nice toy.

Vtech My Friends Tigger & Pooh Teach N Lights Phone

Thsi is a toy which I would rate as Ok, it asks the child to search out the numbers and characters and play a memory game, sometimes these can be a little too advance for the age of child that is attracted to a winnie the pooh toy ( remember 8 characters in sequence when you are 18 months old!)
Not a bad toy and has a friendly pooh bear character and voice but this does grow tiresome when you have heard it all day long.
I would buy it again, I would give it as a gift so 3 stars from me.
Oh almost forgot it does switch itself off after a while of being inactive which is a great battery saver and stops you going insane!
