Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver LED Torch

Well worth buying - although the switch has a tendency to be quite temperamental the LED torch lasts for months at a time and is practical to use as a torch (provided you're happy with everything being lit by blue light..). For the price you can't really go wrong.

Cranium Hullabaloo

I bought this game for my five year old daughter for Christmas because all the other Cranium games that we have provide hours of entertainment for all three of my daughters. This is hilarious. My girls have played it for over an hour this afternoon. I have been entertained just watching them leaping about, trying to touch different parts of their body to the various pads and doing very funny victory dances (as instructed). Brilliant, energetic fun!

Gross Magic

I bought this game for my five year old daughter for Christmas because all the other Cranium games that we have provide hours of entertainment for all three of my daughters. This is hilarious. My girls have played it for over an hour this afternoon. I have been entertained just watching them leaping about, trying to touch different parts of their body to the various pads and doing very funny victory dances (as instructed). Brilliant, energetic fun!

We got this for our son a couple of weeks ago for his 7th birthday.

The console bleeps at you when a beast is near then you have to swing the console around to find the beast and then reel it in with the little fishing reel on the side.

There are apparently 105 different beasts. They are divided into different levels of difficulty to catch, so you start with the easy ones. Once you have caught something you can either keep it (up to 3 at a time) and train it, or exchange it for a lure or sell it for gold. Some beasts only come out at certain times of day. Operation Doctor Who

First I must confess I have never played the original Operation game so I can't make a comparison to that but as a stand alone game this is good.

In this game you are a Dalek doctor. There are 12 Dalek anatomy parts you have to retrieve fom the Dalek without setting of the phrases "You are an enemy of the Daleks!", "Exterminate!" and "You must be destroyed!". A flashing light also goes off if you fail your operation. The sound effects are suitably loud and authentically Dalek sounding.

In single player mode you can just perform all the operations and remove the 12 parts but this game is best played with 2-4 players.

John Adams Golden Coin Maker

My children had been looking forward to this for ages. They have seen it on the tv and thought they would be making lots of golden coins at christmas. I wasn't so sure but as they were so set on it I bought it them for christmas. What a waste of money my children sadly learnt that the reality of what these advertisers show on the tv is not in fact the reality of trying to make them yourself. Even as I sat with them they were bored to the fact we made two coins and it's never been touched since. It took forever to melt the chocolate then it had to go into the fridge. Ravensburger Stow and Go Roll Up Jigsaw Puzzle Storage

I bought this for my mum as she often does Jigsaw puzzles but needs to pack them away at the end of the day so that she can use the dining table.

This product does the job perfectly. As the roll is inflatable you can pack it away in the drawer when not in use. You use the non slip felt mat as a base to complete you puzzle on. When you want to pack the puzzle away you simply pump up the tube and roll the puzzle (on the mat) around the tube and then fasten the elastic bands around to keep in place. It can then be stored behind the sofa or on top of the wardrobe until the next puzzling session.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the puzzle stays in place. This product has been really useful and is excellent value for money. ... Read More:
