My boyfriend was bought this as a present when he changed career to train as a doctor. We thought it was a pretty funny joke gift but that was all - didn't expect it would be fun to actually play as adults. How wrong we were! It was brought out one evening over Christmas (after we'd had a few sherries!) and proved to be hilarious. Try keeping your hand still after you've had a few and you'll see what I mean! It brought out the competitive nature of some of the guys in the room too, who couldn't help getting frustrated with their inability to use tweezers (women have an advantage here!) and mocking each other for repeatedly setting off the buzzer. great for all those little pictures the kids produce; and they can get on and play all by themselves. But beware, the refills aren't cheap and the kids aren't very economical with it if left to their own devices. Have had to throw away a few refills where the roll has snapped and haven't been able to reload it.

This was invaluable for my daughter!! I've read mixed reviews but my daughter loved this nest as did I. She was an early sitter and has very strong legs and I wonder if its from all the leg stretching & kicking of the ring that helped her. We had 2 - the gym one did fall apart lots (they need to develop the frame somewhat as parts didn't stay together well) so just used both as rings rather than gym. Great safe place to play, rest & kick. Used if half inflated to keep her head off hard floor when she was wee & once she was stronger & was beginning to sit I inflated it fully. Okay thats a harsh description of my son but its true. I bought this for my eight week old son for two reasons - he needs constant stimulation and he is quite freaky in that he has been holding his head up from birth and gets very frustrated at the majority of toys aimed at his age range that expect him to lie down - which he doesn't like doing.

As long as your baby can support his head then this is fantastic. I did have to hold my breath when I pressed add to basket because of the price but I can see this being used for a long time to go. He very quickly caught on that if he wiggled his legs up and down then the noise came on. Lamaze - Fish Bowl

I got this for my 7 month old daughter to teach her about "putting things in and taking things out". It took her a while to get it, but she always loved the individual toys, and chewing on the "bowl". These days one or other of the little fishies is always in her hands - small and very portable, with lots of different experiences in one reasonably priced toy. Would buy as a present for every baby I encounter!

Classic Etch A Sketch - The World's Favourite Drawing Toy

We bought one of these classic toys for our 7 year old. It was great for a couple of weeks until the vertical movement jammed. We sent off for a new one from the suppliers but it never arrived. Took three follow up phone calls and an extremely irate fax to get any response from the suppliers who finally supplied a new one nine months after the first one broke!

The quality of new models is not as good as the ones I remember when I was a kid. The plastic is not as strong and is more brittle. It can be cracked if dropped. The mechanism is not as good either. The knobs are more difficult to hold because they're smaller (not just because I'm older!) and are not as smooth in use.
