I bought this for my niece for Christmas and she loved it. My niece is 5 and loves painting, drawing and crafty things, almost as much as she loves princesses :D

I had seen some reviews that indicated that some people had trouble with the mixture not setting or making properly. We had no problem at all, we did exactly as the instructions said and our princesses have been perfect. I must admit that I had to look twice for the water fill line on the clear cup as it was actually a lot lower down the cup that it looked like it was going to be in the instructions. Then it looked like there wasn't a lot of water compared to the powder, but the mixture set perfectly so it obviously was right!!

Ozbozz Blue Flashing Storm Folding Scooter

I have now tried to order this item twice and have not received it. To cut a long and aggravating story short, City Link (the delivery service) apparently refuse to leave packages in a sceured entrance area or with neighbors, even though I left a signed note advising them to do so. My neighbor begged the driver to leave the package with her, pointing out the signed note on the front door. How is anyone who has to work for a living supposed to receive a package through City Link? I certainly would not order on-line if I had the time to sit at home and wait for packages.
I would have liked the scooter for my nephew, but cannot tell if it is any good.....unfortunately.

This is a really fun jigsaw that can be sorted by content and colour and has plenty to talk and chat about aswell. Both my children have thoroughly enjoyed this jigsaw even though they wouldn't normally choose to play with a jigsaw. Each room has a different activity going on so there is lots to discuss.

We have 2kids -3yrs and 5yrs.The 3year old was just happy to have something he could do,push the head and make it talk ,then add his houses when instructed - easy and inclusive for him.Our 5year old was able to also do this and be the banker,the money is just £1 so easy to do and count.
Very simple with not too many rules.Easy to keep young kids interest for duration of the game.

Taboo

Taboo is basically talking Pictionary. You split into teams, and in each round one member of the team has to describe as many words as possible to his team mates within the time period. But there are some words that are taboo - that you can't say, and these are of course the words that you really want to say. A member of the opposition checks over your shoulder to make sure you don't slip up.

What this leads to is a fast-moving and at times hilarious game for all the family. It is a game in which age and other things that make a real difference in some more traditional games (like Trivial Pursuit) count for nothing, as what really matters is quick thinking, using words to get round the houses to things.

LeapFrog Explorer Globe

This globe certainly is a fantastic idea. My seven year old was desparate for a globe for christmas, and this seemed the ideal choice as we would all be able to play with it together over the holiday. How dissapointing then when he opened it on Christmas morning and discovered that it was convinced that most of the northern hemisphere was the artic ocean! We are sendning it back (to Santa) for one more go.
