The Eagle is well executed but the Lotus has a number of errors which, for a (very) limited edition, collectors' item is inexcusable. The windscreen and cockpit surround are an attempt at the original shape only used at the '67 Dutch GP, the event alluded to in the packaging because of the car's debut victory in Jim Clark's hands. It isn't even a good rendition as the shape of the perspex section is too square.
The "legaliser" hoop at the back of the gearbox only appeared after that race so the two were never on the car concurrently.
Even worse is that the red-on-white name stickers along the sides of the nose were only used in the '68 South African GP so didn't even appear in the year that this boxed presentation is supposed to ... Read More:
